[Detective Conan] The Last Truth

Chap 7: Finally...

Akai's car had arrived at the building. The building was covered in flame. Conan and Akai poured a bucket of water on them and ran inside.

He ran into the living room and found Shukichi was lying on the floor unconscious, one was because of smoke, the second is blood loss. Beside him was a broken phone and another phone. Akai ran too fast so he held Shukichi up and ran outside with Conan. It couldn't be smooth because there're broken bricks, doors, glass pieces falling down. Both of them had many small and big scratches. Finally, they had come out and the polices didn't notice because James and Jodie had come at the right time to take them home. On the car, there's also Miria who said shakily but didn't show:

- It's about time, Shuichi - san. His injuries were worse, I don't know what if he can... survived.

- Don't you dare say that! He can! - Akai muffled in a small way to Miria.

Miria asked:

- Hey Kudo, do you know who is Yumi?

- You're Haneda Meijin's cousin but you don't know who she is?! - Conan was very surprised.

- I just know that my cousin loved her very much and always talked about her. I have his mail so yeah. And she's a police. The problem is I don't know her appearance. - Miria answered.
