Sarah didn't know what happened, One moment she was locked in combat with an overdriven alternate, The second, She found herself in a lush garden, It looked more like an overgrown forest, A part of her wondered if she had died, And this was the afterlife.

No, She didn't actually, The woman, Was way too cynical for that, If there was a god, They would have helped humanity by now, Hell, What kind of god gets defeated or overthrown by their own creation.

After the garden failed to fade, Sarah figured that she might as well get up and take a look around, Getting on her feet again was surprisingly easy, Yet she had an odd feeling that she was looking at something she shouldn't, The woman didn't know why though, It was just a plain old garden.

"Hello?" Sarah greeted, To the wind it seemed, As nobody answered the call. 'great' she thought, As she was stranded in the woods, God knows how far she is from home and to top it all off, This garden seemed well tended to, So someone would have had to been maintaining it.

She turned the corner of one of the hedge walls, And stumbled across two figures, Two figures that were mostly obscured by bushes, They were having a conversation.

"Hello??" The woman called, Not wanting to purposefully easedrop on them, They didn't respond, Not even a flinch or indicator that she was even heard.

"Eve! It was the strangest thing! After we went to bed, I woke up and suddenly! There was this apple next to me!" The more masculine of the two said

This whole thing felt suspiciously familiar.

"Golly Adam! Do you think it was from that tree that God told us not to eat from?"

Okay now Sarah concluded that she was in the fucking, GARDEN OF EDEN! In a passed out, Dream state, She guessed, The woman thought though that Eve was tempted first.

"I don't know Eve, I didn't risk it, So I put it near the tree." Sure enough, The iconic tree of wisdom stood at the base of the garden, Adam kept to his word, The untouched fruit sat at it's base.

"That is a relief! I wonder who brought it to you?"

"I don't know Eve, I remember seeing a person, A person like you and me! Out in those woods over there!" The man pointed to a distant forest, Sarah instinctively looked as well, She saw someone...

Someone who's face was obscured by the heavy shade of the trees, Someone donning a white robe, Someone...

Sarah jolted awake, Her surroundings told her she was back on the streets where she encountered the alternate, Of which seemed long gone now, She couldn't see the wonders of the sky, As her view was obscured by a dark shadow that loomed over her, It wasn't tall but height didn't matter in combat.

What caught her attention more were what seemed to be wing like limbs on it's form, Sarah knew it couldn't be Adam and Jonah's friend!

With quick thinking, The woman pulled out her phone and turned the flashlight on, Blinding this bitch, Her plan worked as the creature cowered, Clutching it's face, Whining.

"FUCK- I SAVED YOUR LIFE AND THIS IS HOW YOU REPAY ME!?" It cried out in a nasally voice as Sarah scurried her way back onto her feet.

"Fuck off with this true savior bullshit! You have saved nobody!" She yelled in response, It stood under a streetlight, Sarah could now get a good look at it.

It looked... Human, Nothing like the descriptions that others had seen of the quote on quote, True savior.

While this thing had curly hair, It was of a brunette shade, Gabriel's was blonde, Like fool's gold, And rather than having pure white wings, The creature had wings varying from different tans and browns like a common bird's.

Sarah wasn't about to let her guard down though. "Who and what the fuck are you!?"

It uncovered it's face to gesture with two open hands defensively. "I'm Raphael- A-...Archangel... R-Raphael..." It's hesitance came off as odd to her, But so were the bright green scars that marked his left eye and what she could see of his neck.

He wore some sort of black and gold robe with a heart like symbol in it's design, One of his green and gold sleeves was stained black by something, Her eyes wandered and saw something on the ground nearby.

It was the alternate she was fighting before passing out, Maybe he was telling the truth... As much as she'd want to disbelieve it.

Sarah approached it, Holding an open hand out, Her phone in her other hand, Sure, It wasn't a weapon, But it can still be used as a blunt object to beat it with if it tries anything.

The winged creature looked at her hand and then her face back in fourth, Like it was trying to access the situation.

"What? Do they not have handshakes where ever the fuck you came from?"

It flinched and took her hand, She noticed a bandaging on it, Sarah couldn't help but wonder what was under it, She couldn't help but to get a better look at him while gently shaking his hand, Something she didn't realize before was the fact that, One of the archangel's wings looked bent, Broken almost.

"D-Do you have a name ma'am?" It peeped up, Still fearful of her.

Ah, The benefits of being a girlboss.

"Sarah, Why are you here for?" Her mood had simmered down enough not to scream at him face to face.

"Welllll, I live here." It replied.

Sarah didn't hesitate to respond quickly. "No you don't."

"Yes I do, Actually!"

"You're supposed to be in heaven!! Unless you did some bad shit that landed you down here! In that case... What the fuck did you do!?"

"I-" The archangel was saved by the bell, Or more accurately, The siren as the chorus of police sirens played in the distance.

"Shit- Meet me in the park up town tomorrow night! I want answers!!" The woman yelled orders at a literal divine being before running off, Likely to lay low and head back to Evelin's place.
