Sammi P.O.V

Sammi yawned, blinking open her eyes groggily. Uhg... What had happened? Her head swam, and she couldn't move her arms. Confused, Sammi glanced around, only to find herself hanging on a wall, in chains. The room was very dark, with ink pouring down the walls and falling over the floor.

Sammi could feel something heavy pressed against her legs. She looked down and yelped. The Ink Demon. It was curled up by her feet, which hung just above the ground. Sammi swallowed nervously, not daring to move. She remembered the thing pulling her into the ink, and felt like she wanted to cry. Why hadn't it just killed her?

That's when she had expected to end up in that inky tunnel and was teleported at the start. But no. For some reason, it had brought her here. Sammi frowned. "Wish I knew where 'here' was," she mumbled.

The demon at her feet stirred. Sammi froze. Dang, it. The ink demon raised its head, yawning, revealing its sharp teeth. Sammi swallowed nervously. It looked up at Sammi, cocking its head. It stood until it was towering over Sammi. Sammi whimpered, looking away from the demon.

Then it lightly touched Sammi's cheek with its claw. Sammi inhaled. It was surprisingly warm. Then it receded, and Sammi shivered. She opened her eyes partly peeking at the demon. She was just able to catch a glimpse of it walking into a wall. Then there was silence.

Sammi sighed with relief. It was gone. Sammi twisted, trying to pull down on her chains. Nothing. She kicked and fought, pulling with all of her strength, but it didn't matter. She was stuck. Sammi let herself hang limply, sighing defeatedly. What the heck was going on? This had never happened before, had she found an alternate path in the loop? Or was she prolonging her death?

Sammi bit her lip. And for once, Sammi was genuinely terrified. She didn't know how this one would end. She had no clue what would happen next.

Sammi lost track of the time of how long she hung, alone in her cell(?). Eventually, she heard whistling. Sammi frowned, confused. Was she hearing things? It was a familiar tune, the one that would play over some of Bendy's old cartoons. Sammi squinted, trying to figure out where the tune was coming from.

Then she froze. She recognized that Bendy mask. It was Sammy Lawrence. Sammi struggled, pulling against her chains. Was the old music director here to try and sacrifice her again? Sammy paused, looking at Sammi through his familiar mask. He didn't speak, he just... watched. Studied her.

Sammy opened his mouth but before he could speak. Sammi spoke. " Look Sammy I know you are going to do so don't. It's going to end with you dead. Got it?" Sammy just stared at her. Once, when Sammi was done the other Sammy spoke. "Ok, do you have a name then, sheep?" What? Sammy never asked her name before.

"I'm not a sheep and my name is Sammi." Sammy laughed a bit then stopped. "Wait... you said Sammi. In Sammi Grace?" Sammi was very confused. "Um...yeah?" Sammy moved closer to Sammi. "Who are you?" He demanded. "Why don't the Lord know who you are?! He knows everyone else, why not you?!"

Sammi was shocked into silence. What? Sammy wasn't making any sense. "I don't know!" she snapped, her temper getting the best of her. " Why don't you shut up and just die again, Bo-"

Sammy slapped Sammi across the face, hard. Sammi coughed up blood. "We don't swear in the Lord's house," Sammy said in a sing-song voice. Sammi glared at him and said, "I didn't." Suddenly Sammy paused, turning his head sideways. Sammy became very still. "Die again?" He questioned quietly.

Sammi froze. Oops. She hadn't thought before she spoke, but of course, Sammy hadn't died yet. And Sammi didn't know if he would now, that everything seemed to have changed. Sammy L. stared at Sammi G. for a long moment, then took off his Bendy mask. Sammi gasped, startled. His face was completely covered in ink, but now Sammi could see his eyes. They were leaf green. Green.

Sammi blinked. She hadn't seen any color for so long... Sammy's eyes studied Sammi's. Then, "I thought I was the only one." He whispered. Sammy blinked. He sounded...almost sane. The only one what? Sammi must have looked pretty confused because Sammy started laughing.

"I knew something must have been wrong." He started speaking normally now. "When you didn't show up at my department." Sammi gasped at him. Sammy remembered her? He remembered each loop like Sammi did. Sammy started to laugh. "I didn't realize you remembered each loop as well!" He grinned, gazing at Sammi.

Sammi cocked her head. Sammy froze, staring at Sammi. She frowned at him. Sammy laughed slightly. "This is awkward," Sammy muttered. Sammi let out a snort. "Gee, you think?" She shot back, laughing. Sammy smiled, then began to laugh as well. Maybe it was just nerves.

Sammi shook her head. "So, if you knew what would happen, why did you-" Sammi's voice trailed off. Sammy gazed at Sammi. "Try to sacrifice you?' He finished. "Try to kill you?" Sammi tensed, then nodded. Sammy paused.

Then, "Why did you turn on the machine, knowing what would happen? Why did you ever leave the Safehouse, knowing what that Alice would do to guys?" Sammi was quiet. "There was no other choice." She muttered. Sammy nodded. Then he hesitated.

"How'd you change it?" Sammi stared at him. "Change what?" Sammy blinked at her. "The loop. Right now, I'm supposed to be tying you to the ritual circle. Instead, we're here, having this lovely conversation." Sammy paused.

"Then, I didn't run. Usually, he jumps at me and tries to grab me. I run for the exit and fall through the floor. This time, I just stood there." Sammi's voice trailed off, flinching when she thought of the ink. She'd nearly drowned.

Sammy hesitated, then placed his hand on Sammi's cheek. Sammi pulled away. "I don't like being touched." "Okay." He whispered. "The Lord is merciful." He muttered gently. "If he was going to kill you, he would have done so. This is a beginning for both of us."

Sammi stared at him. Just when she thought Sammy might start to make sense, he'll start talking about the "Lord" again. Sammy stood, nodding at Sammi. "Don't be scared, Sammi Grace." He muttered. He inclined his head to Sammi, then put his mask back on.

"Follow the Lord's bidding, and everything will turn out fine. I promise."
