Making a Monkey Out of a Demon

Mio and Maria have taken Y/N back to their home. They put him in his bed and watch over him.

Mio: "How is he?"

Maria: "His wounds have closed, and his pulse is normal."

Mio: "That's good." Vice comes out of Y/N's body.

Vice: "*Sigh* Y/N..." Mio thinks about the words the Masked Demon said to her.

Masked Demon: "Would you mind ceding the previous Demon Lord's power that's the cause of all of this?" She makes a fist from the thought.

Maria: "He just gets some rest and recover his stamina." Maria looks at Mio who is silent.

Maria: "Mio-sama?"

Mio: "Oh, I just felt a little hot." Mio holds her forehead.

Maria: "That's not good. We should get medicine!"

Vice: "Ah! You should go to your room and rest."

Mio: "Don't worry. I'll be resting in my room for a bit."

Vice: "Wait did she hear me!? I don't think so..." Vice sulks floating around Y/N.

Mio: "Take care of the rest here, okay?"

Maria: "Oh, okay." Mio walks out of Y/N's room closing the door behind her. Vice hears Y/N groan for him to open his eyes.

Vice: "Y/N!" Maria looks back to see Y/N's eyes are open.

Maria: "Y/N!?" Y/N sits for a sharp pain to throughout his body.

Maria: "Ah! Are you okay!?"

Y/N: "I'm okay just a little sore."

Vice: "A little sore!? I can even feel the pain...I can't but still!"

Y/N: "It's okay, Vice. I'm fine."

Maria: "I'm sorry. If only I'd arrived a bit sooner."

Y/N: "No, you helped enough."

Vice: "He's right, littler sister."

Y/N: "See even Vice agrees."

Maria: "Yes...But you're incredible. You're conscious already?"

Y/N: "Yeah, our clan undergoes special physical training for our bodies. Starting as kids...Well that's what my dad told me. I don't remember anything." Y/N doesn't remember his childhood but Vice does. Vice has always been there alongside Y/N since his birth.

A young Y/N is sleeping against a tree. Vice comes out of Y/N's body to check on him.

Vice: "Sleeping during class again huh? Look at you all smiles and no worries!" Vice tires to poke Y/N's cheek. He hears kids fighting behind him. Turning around Vice watches Basara defeat another kid.

Teacher: "Good! Basara, that's enough." The teacher stands in between the two children. He helps Barasa's opponent to his feet.

Yuki: "Incredible, Basara." The teacher notices Y/N sleeping.

Teacher: "Y/N!" Vice quickly hides behind the tree.

Y/N: "Huh!?" A half awake Y/N sits up.

Teacher: "Since you're sleepy how about you get a little exercise to wake up? You'll fight Basara next." Y/N stands up for Vice to float behind Y/N.
