So I kicked someone in the stomach, big deal. I swear the people in my pack are such drama queens. If someone picked on you and you finally stand up to them does that make you the villian? No, but try telling them that.
As soon as Trish landed on the ground she started whinning like a baby, she couldn't believe I did that to her. Trish's wailing lasted for centuries before the others marched back up the stairs, demanding who was making that god awful noise.
"Why do we always miss the good stuff!?" Riley complained looking over to where Trish was still seated at on the floor. "Man I could have taken pictures, dang that could have been really funny too!"
"Just look on the security tape." I suggested pointing to the small dome on the ceiling by the door.
"We have security camreas?" Xandi asked glancing at where my pointed finger was.
Ignoring him I continued like he didn't say anything.
"Dust, How much time left?" I turned to Dustin who for once wasn't looking at his phone but his watch.
He sighed "We still have about 6 hours left." Him and us groaned in annoyance.
"Well, we got 6 hours to kill, what are we going to do?" Jonah slung his arm around
My shoulders casually.
"I don't...well we could always..-" Xandi and Resse growled so loud they cut me off.
They didn't have to be so rude! Xia shouted like could hear her.
"What?" I snapped at them
"Don't 'what' me, what the hell is going on!?" Xandi yelled putting on your-so-dead-if-you-dont-tell-me-look.
"I might have to tell him." I ignored him and looked up to Jonah who towers over me.
"Not all of it." He said looking down on me.
"I know," I muttered Jonah kissed my forhead and signaled the others to go back down the stairs.
As they walked off I asked Xandi and my very good friend who is also like a sister to me Roman Tylor, to follow me outside to the path leading to a private beach.
We approached the beach and I turned to look at the curious faces I love so much.
"Xyl what's going on?" Roman asked softly.
"Is everything ok?"
"Well, everything's not." I confessed "There are things I never told you, both of you and I'm sorry I never did."
"What're you talking Xyi?" Xandi said worriedly
I breathed in hard and continued. "I can't tell you everything, its against orders and I have to follow that, I hope you understand." They both nodded silently
"Me and the others are leaving and we're not returning,"
"What!?" They both screamed
"We will only come back when you and Reese are crowned alphas for the next generation." I said
"But," Xandi started but I waved him off.
"Look I know this sudden but I promise this isn't goodbye. I'd never do that to you two." My eyes started to get watery but I knew I still had to continue to the end.
"There are things I've done that I regret, wish I could forget and want to forget, but being me I can't do that. What I do is very very dangerous, I'm not kidding either, I dont even know how I'm alive. Anyway I want you to both promise me that when I'm gone you won't get sad and depressed, ok? You know that I wouldn't want you being like you just lost yourself forever. I want you to live your life's to the fullest, I mean it too." I tried to be serious bit ended up laughing. Roman ran and bear hugged me. "I love you guys." I becken Xandi to come over with my hand. Xandi tackled us and started whimpering.
