" Naomi"?

he questions ,jerking me from my thoughts.

we never speak,it's been a week

Since he joined me in this white walled cell.

"can we talk" his voice is meek

sure I mumble folding the napkin

"ok,so I've noticed a few things about you" he pauses,I'm scared of what he will say next.

Cold air fills the room

please bring me to my doom .

" You remind me of a flower...choked by weeds and dehydrated.

he stops for a minuet,I can feel him trying to read my expression.

My brain is a maze which way should I turn..away

"oh thanks" I say sarcastically doodling with a red ink pen on my palm.

"Which means everyone has made it hard for you to grow..I just wanted to say I too am a flower choked by weeds and dehydrated. Together we can wither away, the stems of what could have been a vibrant flower".

It was until that moment I had cast out all dreams of seeing the sun and just wallowed in my dark clouds. It never rained nor poured just blanketed the sky.

But now a small shard of light shines through.

"thanks" I smile

"your welcome Naomi your never alone" he says "I hear you cry, your tears mix with mine..."

I scribble, nothing left to speak his voice singing through me ears..

Suicide:the intent of taking ones own life

smiles strung up by the same rope I used to hang myself

Laughing I suffocated like I suffocated on the water in the tub

encouraging words exchanged and will continue to be exchanged at my funeral.

the song of a dead girl rings through your ears, her sweet melodious song, she'll drive you insane with her beautiful song.

she sings

love me

save me

save me please

it you ignored her so now you bear the song of a dead girl ringing though your ears.
