i slowly drifted into a deep slumber. i was woken a few hours later, i think, by nathan.
"baby girl, what do you want from mcdonalds?"
"fries and a coke" i groaned as i just woke up.
i felt nathan put his hand on my hand, interlocking our fingers.
"i was wondering, when we get home in a few days." god i don't want to go home. "maybe i can take you out for dinner?"
"would florence be okay with that? i would love to but i do not want to loose my best friend over a date." i stated honestly.
"i can convince her to be. c'mon lil mama it would be fun." he grinned, practically begging me.
"yes. i will nathan." i smiled over at him.
"hi, can i take your order?" we heard the drive through lady ask.
*after the drive through*
i picked up a fry, savouring the taste of the amazing mcdonalds fries. gosh, they are like heaven on earth.
"would this date be fancy?" i curiously questioned.
"yes. everything has to be the best of the best for my babe." he smirked.
"why on earth do you keep calling me these names? we aren't even dating." i smirked, trying to get a reaction out of him.
"i goddam wish we were." he winked at me.
"then why the hell haven't you asked me yet?" i questioned, slightly annoyed.
"you'd probably say no." he nervously smiled.
"try me, nathan" i confidently stated.
"will you be mine, ingrid?" he said in a happy voice.
"yes, nathan. i will be yours." i smiled back at him as he grinned uncontrollably.
"forever?" he smiles.
"as long as you will be with me forever." i giggled
"i wouldn't dream of ever letting you go." he stated, truthfully.
