James stood patiently at the altar, waiting for his bride. He looked moderately dressed in his black suit with a white sleeve inside and his handsome face had an uncertain expression. He looked at Nick, who was sitting close to joy. Then he remembered Nick's question last night - are you even ready for this? He was sure what his answer was but he felt he loved her.

He tried not to sweat as he looked around the church sits - empty.
Apart from Nick, joy and the church wards, no one else was there. He felt empty too. But certainly it was his fault, wasn't it?

He tried clearing his thoughts, and relaxed his nerves. Sweat trickled down his back. He had cold feet and he tried exercising his legs - pushing them forward and backward. The pastor gave him a weird look. Then he stopped.

Nick glanced at him severally and joy had a confused look on her face. They both knew he was nervous.

Nick gave him a thumbs up but joy grabbed his hand down.  "Don't do that,"

The massive wooden door opened. A tint of happiness appeared in his eyes. "She's finally here," he dragged his eyes to the door, where his bride would emerge from.

She walked in. Everybody stood up. Everybody was shocked. 'A blue dress?'

"Who wears blue at her own wedding?"

Merlin walked in wearing the most beautiful blue mermaid dress style. She looked stunning and more like a goddess - a crown on her head instead of a veil on her face.

Joy wondered how James met a beauty and Nick avoided eye contact.

The church warders bowed. She had a powerful aura and her sparkling jewelries enticed her dress.

James stood frozen. He had no words for her. His eyes burned with desires and he felt like taking her right there, right now.

She walked towards the aisle - no father to lead her. No music either. Just an empty room with people who seemed bewitched by her beauty.

As she walked, the slit on her dress exposed her sexy thighs and James swallowed hard. The huge diamond crystal on her neck laid in between her exposed breast. James could feel his crotch harden.

He extended his hand to her and she slowly clasped hers on his arms. He whispered into her ear and the mermaid blushed. Her cheeks turned red with embarrassment, "oh James... Wait till our wedding night.."

They stood opposite each other about to take their vows. The priest gave them a lead.

"Do you Miss. Merlin Luna accepts sir James Daniels as your lawful wedded husband in rain and sunshine, in sickness and ..............."

"Yes I do," Merlin didn't hesitate to answer. Her face is full of smiles.

The priest turned his attention to James and repeated the vows.

James was reluctant. He seemed far away from reality. He wasn't sure what his answer was.

"James?" Merlin winked at him

Then he smiled, it seemed like his senses had returned.

"I .... fucking do," he replied grabbing her for a kiss.

The rings haven't been exchanged yet. The priest frowned.

He kissed her so passionately that you could see fire in his eyes. His body was ablaze and he needed to quench it. He grabbed her thigh and circled it around his waist, touching her butt hungrily.

She looked at him, an evil grin on her face. "Be hungry....for me James," she whispered in his ear.

Nick and joy stared in disgust -  James had finally lost it.
