"Bye bye doggo!! Do bring her again if there's anything and don't forget its medications on time Miss! Bye bye Rosy!!" I waved at the golden retriever and the owner as she helped her dog in her mini van.

"Pheww that was the last one for today." I sighed.

"Yeah that was a long day. We can still have emergencies.." Charlotte said removing her white cloak.

"Eyyy don't say these. It always happen when you say so. Remember the goat incident. So shut up or I punch yo ass" I showed her my fist.

Only us three were left at the cabinet. My other colleagues had already left.

"I know you wanted it to last longer!" Olivia smirked at me.

"Huh? What do you mean?" I asked.

"Eyy the way you were eyeing the chick! You think we can't see?!" She smiled.

"Yeah she was hot so what and I'm bi also so... uh umm nevermind shut up!" I said after realising what I said. They both laughed.

"You gotta find someone though. You're hot too. You have all the necessary qualities. If we didn't have a boyfriend already, well gurl I swear to god, we'd surely date you." Charlotte said.

"Ha I bet. But I gotta focus on my career. Gotta make money and buy a house too."

"Yaaa you're talking as if you don't have enough money. You got a couple of millions in that bank account. You can easily buy 5 houses with that." Olivia said.

"Yeah whatever. I just don't want to move out now."

"Well you gotta do so gurl. Cuz if you don't then you'll end up rotting in that apartment with your dog for the rest of your life." She added.

"I know I know.."

"Though I'm still feeling sad for that one kitty..." Olivia pouted thinking about the black kitty who unfortunately had to leave this world.

"That's life.. it's how it works.." Charlotte said.

"It ain't a work for it to be working.. I guess that's just the suppose called destiny.." I said.

"Wow Aesha! Coming from you?! I thought you didn't believe in destiny things.." Olivia said.

"I don't. I said it only for the kitten." I said.

"What about you becoming a vet then? Isn't it destiny? You've been yearning about this since your childhood days." Olivia said.

"This is my job. My dream job, which I successfully achieved. There's a difference between dreams and destiny." I said.

"Yo girls stoppp. Let's go and grab a drink. It's Saturday and 10pm!" Charlotte said excitedly.

"Nahh I guess I'll pass today. I'll head home." I said.

"Aww why???" Charlotte whined.

"I got a few things to do. Also gotta look after the dog. Sorry. Maybe next week. Well gotta go bye. See you girls on Monday." I packed my things.

"Oh well.. sadly.. see you then.. reach home safely then Aesh. If there's something, call us. We'll be around here." Olivia said.

"Yesss. No worries."

"Night boss!" They said and left.

"Ok so.. I just gotta send this document to Emily, the squirrel owner. My bad Emily, I know it's pretty late but unfortunately.. I also gotta check down the basement a few things.. then imma head home." I talked to myself.

*Time skip*

"Ok close for today!" I closed the door and headed home.

I put on my airpods, played Coldplay's A Sky Full of Stars and walked a few stairs. After reaching the top, I noticed how pretty the lights of the city and the sky were. The song and the view were so perfect. A shooting star passed by.
