Chapter 2

Yuu was 90% sure she looked half dead.

Satan was practically dragging her to the house at this point.

She was trying- No, actually, she wasn't trying to pay attention to her surroundings.

She really should've slept more instead of all those sleepovers.

She forced herself out of a sleepy trance, as they arrived at the house.

It was fitting for a place for demons, she would admit it.

The moment she entered, she saw Keiko being dragged off by what she suspected was one of the missing brothers.

She turned to Satan for confirmation, he just sighed.

"That was the third eldest of my brothers, Leviathan." Yuu just nods.

"Where's my room?"

If Satan was at all surprised by her lack of care, he didn't show it.

"You and Keiko will be sharing a room." Yuu deadpans immediately.

"Is that a wise decision?"

"I don't believe it is but you seem to lack care in the department that makes it unwise so I will say it's fine."

"Fair enough."

Neither bring up how easy the small banter came and went, could it even be considered a banter? Yuu didn't know, and she didn't care, she was only here for a year anyway, why should she care?

Satan guided her to what would be her shared room, and she knew people who would like the aesthetic, but did someone need plants growing on the wall? By the great seven, there was a whole tree in here, at least it was a bunk bed if nothing else.

Yuu took top bunk, much to the amusement of Satan.

"Are you not going to discuss it with Keiko?"

"No, first come first serve."

"Well, you might be dealing with complaints."

"Boohoo, he can cry about it."

The concealed chuckle from the avatar of wrath helped her believe she was starting off on his good side.

"I believe you'll fit right in here, Yuu." Yuu just stared at him. Was fitting in with demons actually a comforting thought?

Well, if she thinks on it, it wasn't like her last school was much different, personality wise.

Satan's chuckle brings her back to reality, is her dry humor of deadpan looks and petty insults amusing?

"Well, I suppose I can leave you to get settled, you will have 2 days to settle in until we start school at RAD on monday." He glances at her, making sure she understood.

"Yeah sure." Yuu just shrugs, uncaring and slightly tired.

Satan nods with an amused glance, before leaving for his own room.

Once Yuu is sure he's gone and that no one else was around at the current moment, she jumps down from the bunk, and goes over to the desk, there were some items on it, and yeah, she had noticed it from the start, was she going to tell any of the brothers she did?

No absolutely not, she was of NRC after all, why would she ever be transparent with anyone she didn't trust with her life?

It was an odd set of items, a sketchbook, empty at that, a pair of headphones, an empty notebook, and a cassestape, the last one made her double take.

Maybe she spent too much time around tech geniuses, because seeing a cassestape shouldn't give her whiplash.
