Damian's Story (Finally)

Hi my name is Damian, I'm Desmond's "Inner Demon" as he likes to call me but to me he's my Inner Demon. I've been his Inner Demon since he's been born I've just never showed myself to him until he was at the end of his elementary school years. We would fight with each other a lot but as we both grew up we learned to deal with each other and soon learned to like each other instead of making each other miserable. Now my journey began a long time ago, but today is where my story begins.

The Present
As Winter charged for Desmond I looked back to see Rain doing the same towards me. I quickly jumped back so she wouldn't hit me. "Stand still so I can kill you!" Ha I doubt you'll even be able to get a hit on me. "Oh yeah watch me!" "Darkness Reaper!" As she finished a reaper began to form and started to swing its scythe. It keeps getting so close that I have no chose but to keep jumping backwards until I jumped back hitting the wall. "Now Darkness Reaper kill him!" It quickly pulled the scythe towards me head ready to cut it off when one of Desmond's clones appeared in front of me creating a shield to the side of us. Desmond?! 'Yeah don't worry you didn't think I would let her kill you did you? Thanks! "Ugh! How did you make a clone from so far away!" 'Well I can make them from anywhere I am." (Idiot you shouldn't have taken your eyes off of me for a sec.)(Ice Shards!) 'Photon Wall!' Be careful Desmond! 'I will as long as you do!' "Well since my reaper couldn't kill you I guess I will!" "Shadow Claws!" Darkness Sword/Shield! As me and Rain got closer to each other I prepared to defend against her attack while at the same time preparing to attack, but before I could swing she was propelled up into the air by a pillar of ice that I suspected belonged to none of then Winter. "Ha you didn't think I was going to let you get close to me did you?" But then how are you going to attack me?! "Well you see my Shadow Claws can shoot out claws of their own making this weapon a range and close up weapon, and plus even if I do hit you with the actual claws they'll one hit you anyways." What how's that possible! It doesn't matter how its possible it just is. NOW DIE! If her Shadow Claws are a one hit kill than how powerful does that make her claws?!

I immediately began evading her attacks while trying to get as close to her as I could without getting hit, but soon after I got hit and when if did it had stunned me. Luckily Desmond was able to make a clone to shield until I wasn't stunned anymore. I quickly regained my strength and ran towards Rain faster than what I was doing before making sure that I would be able to hit her without being hit myself. Just as I was about to hit her she was once again propelled into the air by a pillar of ice. "Haha you really thought you could hit me that easily?! Yep because now I have you right where I need you! "What!" Go Desmond! 'Photon Clone:Propel!' With that I could feel myself quickly being pushed off the ground and into the air. "Idiot now your immobilized like me, which means you can't dodge my attack! I don't need to dodge something I can repel! As I finished my sentence I pushed back my shield making it repel back Rains claws. "Uhoh." And with that Rain was launched forcefully down into the ground. I then heard Desmond use his "Omega Photon Scythe" and then immediately heard Winter scream an agonizing scream and not wanting to see what I had saw happen. I began to walk over towards where I saw Rain fall while Desmond caught up with me. When we got to the spot we saw that Rain was still alive and looked like she was maybe still able to fight but we both knew that we needed to free our friends so we both charged up our beam attacks and prepared to fire, but we were stopped when she said. "Huh look at yourselves if this is your only choice then what makes you two any better than me or Winter, but don't let me stop you go ahead and continue with what you were going to do please" She gave us a quick smirk. Wait Desmond maybe you should let me do this instead. 'What why!' Because if you do it with me then it'll begin to turn you into what I am and we can't have that happen. 'Ok fine go ahead and...'

But before he could finish his sentence he was stabbed with Rain's Shadow Claws. You son of a....Omega Darkness Beam! With that she was engulfed into the beam of energy. After that a door formed and opened up showing me the way to Limbo. D..Desmond stay with me! He smiled and said weakly. 'Damian I give you my soul and mind. My eyes widened as the words came out out of his mouth. N..No Desmond you can't do that you're going to be fine! Trust me! 'Damian we both know that's not true, and I'm sorry it has to end this way but always remember that from now on YOU'RE Desmond.' I could start to feel tears roll down my face as I held his head up trying to keep him awake. Desmond I don't wont you to go PLEASE! Please don't go not like this! But I knew that he was gone when I saw his body float into the door and disappear, but when I looked at the door I saw not only his body float into it but I saw Sarah walking towards it calling for Jess to come to where she was. I quickly ran to the door but when I got really close to it I was flung backwards away from it, and at that moment Sarah and Jess walked through the door. I soon felt tears pour down my face as they walked towards me.

"Desmond what's wrong?! I then started to sob into Jessica's shoulder trying to tell her that I wasn't Desmond but unable to get the words out correctly. "Wait your not Desmond are you, your Damian?" Unable to still talk I just shook my head indicating a yes. "Oh my god he's gone isn't he?!" I then could hear her begin to cry as well. 'Wait is that what that figure was that I saw float through the door?!' ' Wait we can just go back through the...' But when we looked at the door it was no longer there. 'W..Where'd it go?!' It goes away once all the souls that are purposely saved are out. Sarah turned around now in tears as well. 'So you mean there's no way to save him ever!?' I'm afraid not. "Well he must've known the consequences for dying in his dream and if he made you the soul and mind then he wouldn't want us to just sit here and cry over him, he would want us to move on and for Damian to live the rest of his life." 'Yeah Jessica's right.' Now trying to wipe the tears from my face. Well if Jess is right then we need to get out of the dream state then now. 'How do we do that?' Grab my hand and close your eyes and think about waking up and hopefully together we can get out. It felt like forever but it finally worked and when I woke up I quickly went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror to see my eye color turn from red to brown indicating that from now on I was officially Desmond.

It's All Over Now,
But Why Do I Feel
Like It's Not?
