Akutagawa was waiting outside the school for Atsushi while scrolling through his phone. When he saw Atsushi his eyes light up in a way? That made Atsushi smile and they began walking in silence. "Uhm I hope you don't mind but I can't stand walking without my music, you can listen with me if you want to?" Akutagawa said after pulling his headphones out of his pocket

Atsushi happily takes the headphone " OH MY GOD IS THIS MITSKI" he said a little too loudly.. causing his face to turn a bright red from embarrassment. Akutagawa laughed at him and said "haha yeah it is I love Mitski She's been my favourite artist for 3years now" Atsushi was in shock he found the most perfect man in the universe HE LIKED MITSKI. "That's such a cool coincidence!! She's been my favorite for 3 years too" Atsushi said that with the biggest stupid smile on his face which made Akutagawas face go red? Atsushi just assumed it was from embarrassment, but little did he know...
Akutagawa POV
Oh no could he tell I was blushing my face feels so hot oml my face is gonna explode his smile is so pretty he's so pretty and he likes Mitski and he's blushing too oh my god does he like me no there's no way absolutely no way
I was rudely interrupted in my thoughts by a stupidly familiar voice
"AtsushiIiiIiiIii"
Ugh. Dazai.
I honestly can't stand that guy we used to be close but Uhm yeah some stuff happened and now I'm just not really a fan of him I guess.
"Oh hi Dazai! Where's Chuuya??"
... OH GOD ATSUSHI IS FRIENDS WITH DAZAI??? God somebody shoot me now I can't believe this whyyyyyyyyyyy Atsushi please anybody but himmmmmmmmmmm. However I wondered where the rude ass ginger was too so I turned around
Dazai gave me an up and down look so I just scoffed and started walking away, I'm not trying to get into an argument with someone who doesn't even know the difference between their and there. At this point I didn't care if Atsushi was following me I'm willing to do the whole project by myself if it means I don't have to get into the 50 millionth fight with that IDIOT.
To my surprise Atsushi was still following me, what was even more surprising he didn't question the dirty look or my scoff or why I walked away? If I were in his situation I would have been hella nosey and asked? But obviously he's his own person so I just brushed it off and started to let my mind wander again until we got to my house. God I hate this part.
I sighed before I started to say "so uh my house isn't in the best condition, all I ask is don't go spreading rumours around or anything I don't care what you think of me just please don't go telling people."
I couldn't bring myself to look at him and all he said was "okay" before I took my headphone out of his ear and unlocked the door. Per usual there was beer cans and trash everywhere and his mom lying on the couch sleeping. God this is so embarrassing so I grabbed his hand and speed walked to my room.

"Uhm so we should probably start on our project haha" he said gripping my hand a little bit before letting go
Oh thank god he did it so I didn't have to that's so awkward!!!!
(Idk how to illustrate this they started working on the project and lost track of time and it's night now but they finished)
"By the way i don't know if I can get a ride home and I live pretty far, would it be okay if I called Dazai to give me a ride? I can kinda tell you guys don't get along so I wouldn't want to make you uncomfortable"
He's so considerate of me even though he doesn't know me, that's why I like him so much and I couldn't help but smile like an idiot and after he looked at me with a confused face I said "oh! Sorry yeah go ahead I don't mind as long as you get home okay and thank you for being so considerate" I still had that stupid smile in my face that refused to go away so I covered my mouth with my hand and looked away from him to save myself a lot of embarrassment. UGH I PROBABLY LOOK SO STUPID GROSSS
All he did was smile at me and take his phone out of his pocket
Meanwhile I'm trying to not explode into a million pieces and taking deep breaths like I'm having some sort of panic attack. Ykw maybe this is why I shouldn't talk to people😭😭
After the call he started packing up his stuff and we agreed to keep the project at my house and bring it the day it's due, and I decided to walk him out the door cause yk polite respectful little boy and as he was opening the door he turned around and gave me a kiss on the cheek🤭🤭🤭 I've never been so shocked in my entire life and I just stood there with my mouth open like an IDIOT until he giggled and walked out of the door
NO WAY THAT ACTUALLY JUST HAPPENED!!!
