This is an idea of when they reunite after all the time separated.

Context: The prince can float in this and the princess can choose to make her body tangible or intangible at will whenever she needs to (haha except in the Conflict post, I just say that magic affected her ability). They're in love but she's denying that they can have this love because of the trial with the Councilor.

THIRD PERSON POV:
He tried to grab her hand form the doorknob and his hand went right through her. She sighed and shook her head. "You know it doesn't matter." She laid down on her bed, avoiding eye contact. He floated over and she was startled. "Why doesn't it matter?" He was too close to her face, simply staring at her. "It just doesn't." She replied. He sighed and moved a hand up to her face, caressing it too gently, his fingers barely brushing near her skin. "You have to tell me..." He muttered. She almost leaned into it, before feeling his touch and snapping her eyes shut, flinching away purposefully. His look was tender as his fingers flew through her face slightly. She loooked away as his eyes focused on her. "What...why'd you stop?" His mutter struck her slightly.

His hand dropped to the bed next to her right leg. She tried to move her head away further but he leaned his head in closer to her. He practically whispered, "No, no, no, why'd you stop?" He leaned his head into her forehead slightly as she glanced from his eyes then his hand over to her translucent leg. "Please..." He started. "Please, you have to let me touch you...you control that. You know you want this...I want it too..." He stared into her eyes the whole time he spoke, his hands hovering around the sides of her face in anticipation and agony. He moves to meet her gaze, "But only if you let me. You can tell me to leave and I'll be gone when you blink. Or you can let me really, physically feel you, and we'll just see what happens."

She shook her head so lightly, "I'm just scared..." And he chuckled lowly, "Of what?" "I'm just scared you'll like hate me or something." His laugh grew. "How could I ever hate you? I just-you know that I've been looking for you...for so long. I found out you were here specifially and I just...sort of dropped everything." He laughed a third time, "I've missed you...SO much." She glanced up into his eyes yet again, the swirling colors of bright yellow dandelions filling his irises. She sighed so lightly.

He floated down to the bed, his body seemingly weighing nothing as he landed, the bed creaking slightly under him. He never took his eyes off of her. She then made herself opaque, her legs yet again feeling the softness on her bed. She glanced at his hands, hovering still. She glanced at him and nodded slightly. She watched his inhale go sharp, and he brought his hand back to her face again. His palm grazed her cheek for the first time in ages, and he folded mentally. He shakily inhaled, his exhale bounded in relief. He held her face fully, just staring at her in adoration and yearning. A smile grew from his mouth, a breathy laugh following. She attempted not to smile with him, clearly failing.

He stroked her cheekbone with his thumb, his eyes trained on hers. He was smitten, staring at her every movement, every tug her skin made against his hands. He smiled wider, squishing her face in his hands slightly. They laughed together and he put his forehead on hers, his white locs covering their eyes slightly. He took a shuddering breath, confused yet elated at the situation. His brows furrowed in admiration and he moved his hands to her waist to hug her. He settled his head into the crevice of her neck, breathing slowly onto her. She held his back gently, letting her face bury in his hair.
