Today, Masky and Hoodie had awoken us to a full day of training. We had been told to train using our selected weapons and were forced to wear our masks. I had my mask, it was the usual completely black with white frown. I grinned behind the mask, as I grabbed the two twin hatchets out. We had already eaten breakfast, and were currently standing in a massive training room. The dark oak walls were clean and polished. The equipment was shiny and looked new. I continued to hold my twin hatchets as I stood next to Hoodie. Masky and Toby were training together. Although, they looked like they were actually trying to kill each other.

"You will both be training against Masky and I. Toby will be preparing lunch." Hoodie muttered, as he leaned against the plank of wood, waiting for the pair to finish their battle. They both had to be stopped by Hoodie. They both came out with gruesome injuries, and yet they both looked unfazed. Masky looked over, before walking over to us. Toby promptly nodded towards Hoodie and left the room. He was covered in blood, and so was Masky. Masky and Hoodie then began circling the two of us. Miekyla prepared for a fight and I did the same. I had my back pressed up against Miekyla's back. Masky and Hoodie continued to circle us.

Suddenly, Masky lunged towards us. His bloodied metal crowbar being swung as well, I ducked, making Miekyla copy my actions. Masky smashed into Hoodie, knocking both men down to the ground. I quickly stood up with Miekyla. She seemed dizzy for a second, I pinned my ears backwards and spiked my tail as I lunged for the pair. Masky quickly hit me to the side of the room with the long side of his metal crowbar. Luckily I would only have a bruise on my side. I couldn't see Miekyla anywhere. I got up and used my twin hatchets to run up to the pair of masked men. I already saw their plans and what they did for work, I already knew what I would have to do, what being a proxy meant. I didn't care though.

I quickly ran up to Masky, he got prepared to block me. He left a wide gap between his legs as he crouched down to grab me. I easily slid between his legs, using the hatchets to slow me down, allowing me to turn around easier. I then quickly jumped up, using the force of the hatchets in the ground to pull me up easier. I then swung the hatchets, both landing deep into Masky's back. He fell forwards as I took one of the hatchets out of his back, and lifted his head up, before putting the hatchet against his neck. I then bent down to Masky's ear and whispered.

"Give up yet, Masky?" I asked, with a quiet giggle. The adrenaline was still rushing through my veins.

My only response was being completely flipped over, my hatchet still stuck in his back. My arms were pinned above my head, but I was too small to be able pin my legs. I used this to my advantage, to knee him in the balls, he groaned out of pain, I used this to my advantage to push his arm up, just enough to grab the hatchet in his back. I pulled it out at an awkward angle and he shouted, before his eyes focused on me. I gulped out of regret, before I pulled the hatchet towards my chest, turning it over so the blade was facing Masky's chest. He quickly got off me, just as I pushed it forwards. It would have pierced his chest. Masky looked like he wasn't playing around anymore as he stood back up. I copied his actions and we slowly began to circle each other. Each awaiting the attack from the other.

Suddenly, Masky lunged forwards, I narrowly dodged, before standing upright again. My tail was flicking side to side viciously. I prepared my hatchets, just as he swung down with his crowbar. I barely had any time to react as he quickly swept my legs out from under me. I fell harshly on my back as I got the wind knocked out of me. I coughed violently, as I attempted to gasp for air. The only thing that allowed me to grab the hatchet was the strong feeling of adrenaline. I tried to swing it on the side of Masky's head, but he caught my arm and pinned it beside me. I tried again with my other arm, the same reaction. This time, I couldn't move my legs. His left leg was pinning both of mine down.

I was left gasping for air, Masky had his crowbar pressed up against my neck. Breathing was already hard enough, and I was forced to... Give up. I glared up at Masky. I could hear he was panting from behind the mask.

"You... Win..." I coughed out. I could practically feel the grin from behind the white porcelain mask. I gasped large breaths of air in as he removed the crowbar from my neck. He then got up and lit a cigarette. After a few minutes of lying on the floor, he bent down and offered a hand.

"You did good kid." Masky muttered, before taking a large drag of the cigarette. I took his had, and he helped me up, before Masky breathed out the large puff of smoke. I coughed quietly as I waved the smoke away. His lips formed a smug grin, before he ruffled my hair with his hand. I pouted and messed up my hair again, trying to get rid of the weird feeling in my chest.

"W-Well, that w-was a fun sh-show." Toby snickered quietly. I could see Masky's smirk fall into a frown at Toby's words.

"Shut it, Rogers." Masky growled, I just nodded in agreement. Toby kept giggling quietly, Miekyla giggling with him. Hoodie just sighed and pulled his mask down, putting the empty plate on a small pile. Masky grabbed the two plates from Miekyla, handing one to me and eating one for himself. There was waffles on the plate, only about 3. I was confused about why we were eating waffles for lunch, but didn't bother asking. I was thinking back to my fight with Masky. He didn't seem to be holding back in the second half of the battle.

"Where did Masky and Hoodie go?" I heard a soft and innocent voice ask, I realised it was Miekyla. I looked around, Masky and Hoodie were nowhere to be seen, Miekyla was talking to Toby.

"Th-They went to E-EJ." Toby replied with a shrug. My neck crack as I imitated a cuckoo bird, before randomly saying "HI!" really loud. I ignored it, but was having a hard time stopping my tongue from clicking. After I got them under control, I realized that Toby and Miekyla were leaving. My plate was empty, so I quickly got up and followed them.
