Sarah's (P.O.V)

I tiredly rubbed my eyes as I was awoken from my peaceful slumber. My arms had been wrapped around a soft, but cool surface, but it wasn't solid, not quite. I opened my eyes and sat up, only to be greeted by Sally and Miekyla. Sally had her arms wrapped around my waist, while Miekyla was hugging my arm. Seeing as Sally was on top of me I had to be extra careful. Miekyla was easy to move, and quite a deep sleeper. It took a minute, but I was able to move half of my body off the bed. I carefully lifted Sally's arm and let it wrap around Miekyla. The two were left hugging as I was briefly set free. Sally had her hand on my arm, as if asking me not to leave. My neck twitched, and I was set free. I was surprised, but didn't mind.

I walked over to my cupboard and picked out an outfit. I found a black shirt with, dark brown pants and a dark grey hoodie. I walked over to my bedside table and grabbed my mask, I then easily slipped it on and put the hood up. I grabbed the large jar that I got from Jack and slipped it into my hoodie, before I closed the cupboard and walked over to my bed. I lightly shook Miekyla, to wake her up. Miekyla slowly rubbed her eyes as she awakened. I smiled softly as she tiredly grabbed my hand and got up. I then shook Sally awake, same result.

"Miekyla go get changed, sally you should probably change as well, ok?" I asked as I led them both out of my room. Miekyla nodded, letting go of my hand, before walking into her room. Sally just disappeared before reappearing in a new outfit. Her big green eyes sparkled with excitement.

"Toby's taking care of you two today! He said I could join as well!" Sally grinned. I wondered when she asked, but decided it must have been yesterday. "We're going to the pasta Daycare! Toby said that he'll wait outside or just inside the room." Sally explained, I sighed in relief and nodded.

Just then, Toby barged in, making sure we were ready for the "Big Day" I followed him through the hallways, until we reached a different part of the mansion. I let my cat ears and tail flow out from my hoodie. I had Sally's hand in my left hand and Miekyla's hand in my right. After a while, we reached a room. It looked like a rundown Daycare the sign was broken and read, "DA---RE" in big bold letters. There were scratches and the fallen letters were leaning against the wall. Toby let us in, before entering inside. My head snapped to the side as I looked around the room. There was Sally, a girl in a blue dress and a boy in a dark grey shirt and denim overalls.

"T-Today, you will b-be staying i-in the D-Daycare. O-Ok?" Toby asked, before getting ready to leave. I said nothing, but nodded. "O-Oh, and you c-can take of y-your masks if y-you want." Toby informed, before he exited the room. The boy and girl who were talking, immediately fell silent. I let go of both females hands before walking into a corner near some books. There was a horror book titled "Toys by James Patterson and Neil McMahon." I smiled at the cover, a man walked down some sort of storage unit and towards the light. I mumbled the small writing on the cover to myself "He was a husband, He was a hero. Now he's a fugitive." I smiled again as I opened up to the first page.

Miekyla's (P.O.V)

Sarah was reading a massive book, while Sally introduced me to the other two children. Oliver Henderson was the boy with the dark grey shirt and denim overalls, he also wore a broken cat hat on his head. The hat had one glowing red eye, that starred at me, almost as if it was analyzing me.

Lulu was the girl in the navy blue dress, without eyes. As soon as we entered a gentle fog lifted up, and she starred at us. She seemed unhappy and oddly cold. I didn't mind though, I just hoped we could still be friends.

"Can I please take my mask off?" I asked, glancing at the other three kids, they looked at each other confused, before nodding. I grinned as I gently lifted my mask up, a soft breeze blowing on my face as I did so. I could hear Sally gasp as she starred at my face, I let my ears and tail be set free from the prison of my hoodie.

"You're so cute!" Sally squealed happily, before hugging me tight. Mask still in hand, I quickly hugged back.

"Hello, my name is Oliver. This is Tom." Oliver introduced, politely extending his hand for a hand shake. I shook his hand and grinned, he did the same. I looked up at the hat and shook it's clawed hand too.

"My name's Lulu." Lulu introduced, I nodded and smiled wider, so I was grinning now. Lulu had a very feint smile on her face.

"My name's Miekyla, but you can call me Milky, Micky mouse or Mickey." I introduced. Oliver, Lulu and Sally all nodded. "Over there is Sarah. She's my best friend, but she's more of a big sister to me. Like my own special protector." I giggled as I pointed over to Sarah. They all glanced over at her, she was still reading, but now her tail was flicking.

"It's rude to stare..." Sarah muttered, before turning her head to face us. Her neck cracked as she made the silly bird noise again. I giggled quietly, causing Sarah to put a book mark in her book and placed it on the bookshelf. She was still wearing her mask, I frowned, but didn't complain. She kept twitching occasionally, she made the bird sound about five times in a row! Before she went back to twitches and shoulder rolls. I whistled and her neck cracked loudly. I turned back to the three, they seemed more hesitant around Sarah.

"My name's Sarah. I like to read, draw, and escape the real world, what about you three?" Sarah asked, using my shoulders as two small elbow rests, I huffed but still didn't complain. I could hear Sarah let out a quiet huff of laughter as she patiently awaited the others replies.

"I'm Miekyla and I like listening to stories, drawing and playing with toys!" I smiled, before turning to the boy with the strange looking hat.

"I'm Oliver. I like drawing, playing with toys and listening to stories." Oliver introduced himself as he extended a hand, Sarah got up and shook it.

"Hello. My name is Lulu, I like to read." Lulu introduced coldly. Sarah nodded and stood upright.

"You already know me silly! But I like to draw! Play dress up! Read and play with my toys!" Sally grinned, her light pink dress flowing down to her ankles.

Suddenly, Sarah's mask changed into a white mask with a black smiley face. She didn't say anything, but seemed a lot happier. She the twitched and it turned black with white frowney face again, she held her head. It then turned into a picture of a grey hoodie, before it turned into the strange circle with the large X through it (Operators symbol). Then it went back to the black mask and white frowney face, Sarah ignored what happened and continued the conversation as if nothing had even happened.

"How old are you all by the way?" Sarah suddenly asked.

"I'm 7." Oliver muttered, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly.

"I'm 14." Lulu admitted quietly.

"And I'm 8!" Sally smiled.

"I'm 5." I mumbled quietly.

"And I'm 8." Sarah grinned, they all looked taken back for a minute, before they all nodded.

"Let's do some drawing!" Sarah suggested, before grabbing out some spare pieces of paper and crayons. We all sat at a MASSIVE round table, before we began drawing. Sally drew Mr. D, Oliver drew Tom, Lulu drew a beautiful sky, Sarah drew a white bear and I drew a fox and a cat. We then hung them up on the wall, after writing our names on them.
