you'll always have me

I've been staying with Baylen for about a week now. He wanted to feature me in some of his videos, saying I would make a good addition to the family. We've been best friends for a long time, but the only issue is, his friend Dizzy and I hate each other.

"Hey, it's time for dinner!" Baylen yelled from downstairs. When I ran downstairs, it seemed as if he had bought out like the entire Chick-Fil-A restaurant.

"I'm about to destroy this," Peej said, stretching from his nap.

"Thanks so much Baylen, I'm about to eat my weight," I said nonchalantly.

"Y/n, nobody cares," Dizzy mumbled as he scrolled on his phone.

"Baylen asked for me to come Dizzy. Nobody asked for you to come! Go home," I replied sassily. He rolled his eyes.

"Thanks Baylen," he said.

"I swear to God, Peej and Sebas seem like a married couple compared to these two hooligans," Baylen laughed, causing Peej and Kyle to laugh in agreement.

"Bro, Sebas hates me dude," Peej laughed.

"Wait see if they follow each other on Instagram," Kyle said excitedly. They checked and immediately burst out laughing.

"You don't even follow each other, what the fuck is this childish behavior. I'm supposed to be the fucking idiot," Baylen laughed.

"Let's be honest, we're all fucking idiots," Peej answered.

After dinner, Kyle and Peej were meeting up with a manager and Baylen was going to visit home, leaving just Dizzy and I at the house. Little did we know that they had hidden cameras in the main room in order to see what we did, for a YouTube video of course. I went to my room and started to do my work. I put my hair up in a messy bun and put on my blue light glasses to start my readings. After about an hour, I could not keep my eyes open, so I went to go get some coffee from the fridge. I continued like this for some time until there was almost no coffee left. I felt disgusting.

As I sat in my room with my readings, I suddenly became frustrated and displeased with them. I then noticed that my feet were cold and my head was hot. I started to breath quicker, along with sweating and shaking. I quickly got up from my chair, dropping some books in the process and scuffled around in my drawer for my medicine and some water. I sat on the ground, leaning against my dresser, trying to find the remote to my LED lights without moving. I was having a bad panic attack from all of that caffeine. I tried deep breathing, but I was just too hot to do anything. Suddenly I was startled by a knock on the door.

"You okay in there?" Dizzy asked, seemingly disinterested.

"Yeah," I managed to get out. Dizzy slowly opened the door to find me sitting on the ground with some medicine and water.

"Are you getting high?" he asked disapprovingly.

"No, I'm just having a panic attack," I said, as I began to calm down again.  That was a short one. I breathed deeply and leaned my head back on the wood, closing my tired eyes.

"Oh, uh, okay," Dizzy said awkwardly, slowly exiting my room. As I pulled myself together again, I realized I was still shaking and very exhausted. I slowly got up and just focused on finding the LED light remote. All of the sudden, the door opened again and Dizzy walked in with a sad look on his face.

He came over to me and gave me a big hug, rubbing my back.

"I know we don't get along, but I understand how you feel and can't just leave you alone in here like this. I won't tell any of them, but I know how you feel. If you ever need anyone to talk to, you'll always have me," he said comfortingly. I was shocked, but very touched and appreciative.

"Thank you. That means a lot," I mumbled, tiredly.

"Here, let's go to the couch, you can finish your work in the morning," he said. We went to the couch and he grabbed me a blanket to share and a large glass of water.

"I understand you probably can't sleep from all of that coffee, so let's watch something," he said.

"Okay," I replied. I was so taken aback by this sudden burst of kindness. He put on New Girl, because it reminded him of the dynamic between all of the boys and I. Sooner or later we both fell asleep on each other. Baylen was sure in for an eventful video.
