Do y...
One of the many, many average people here on Earth. He is currently in a café, drinking a cup of Mocha.
He isn't doing anything in particular, just resting. His day was normal, as usual. Nothing too exciting to look forward to.
Once he finished his cup of coffee, he exited the café to take a stroll around the area.
This was his usual routine - wake up in the morning and stay at home 'til about 2 in the afternoon.
He would head out to the usual café during that time then linger around there for about an hour before walking around the city.
He doesn't do anything much. Just walk and fiddle around with his lock.
Click
He clicks it open then closes it, repeating the pattern. The blonde had discovered the lock lying on the cold pavement a few days ago. Out of curiosity, he took it with him only to find that its clicking sound when it opens seems to calm his nerves.
When he's feeling stiff, he opens the lock. To him, it's like releasing your inner self. As the lock opens, you're acting like yourself. When the lock closes, you're back to what society defines as 'perfect' or 'normal'.
It seems deep, but that was the way Felix thought of it. It fascinated him in that way. He doesn't know why, either.
He continued to click the lock open and close, walking across the roads, pavements, wherever he went.
He occasionally walked by missing person posters. There were a few of them. There were about 4 different posters the past few days.
People started disappearing or going missing these days. No one knew why. No one knew who they were, either. They knew nothing about the missing people.
Maybe the kidnappers are targeting the loneliest people.
Again, he stumbled upon a missing person poster. It was torn, however. No information besides his face could be seen.

He didn't mind the poster. There were more posted around, but they didn't peak his interest. By the time it was midnight, the freckled man could still be seen wandering around.
Felix didn't have any friends. He liked the peacefulness when he was at home, in the café, or even just walking. He always felt so at ease when there was no one with him, when there is nothing but silence filling the air.
He stood at the bus stop waiting. For a bus, obviously. He continuously fidgeted with the lock, having nothing better to do.
And the bus arrived.
He got on. The blonde kept his eyes on the lock, playing with it once again.
The ride was silent. The only noise that could be heard was the clicking of Felix's lock and sound of the breeze moving as the bus did. This was something that irked Felix - the possibility of silence but the prevention of it.
His stare went from the lock to out the window, hitting him with realisation that he had arrived at his destination.
He pressed the buzzer, proceeding to exit the public transport.
Felix walked around again, his attention averting from the space in front of him to a glimpse of red lights from the corner of his eye.
Interested, he goes into the direction of the gleaming light. He may not be fond of surprises but he was always one for excitement.
The blonde may be seen as normal when you talk to him. However, his sense of style and the way he thinks is what sets him apart from others.
He figured that if he the way he acts isn't of his own accord, he'll dress the way he wants to, instead - this was why he looks unapproachable.
His unique clothes would stand out. If he went out with supposed 'friends', he'd be the type to overdress, even for something as simple as a walk.
The clacking of his shoes was soft. You could hear it, but the lock clicking was more distinct.
Deep down, Felix knew that his lock was closed. No one had the key to unlock it - no one but him.
It was almost 1 a.m.
He usually arrives home by that time, either that or 2 a.m.
He doesn't usually do anything different during that time, though. It's mostly roaming around the city. He really enjoys the view at night.
ORDINARY
"Is this place supposed to be society?" he joked.
Its red lights beautifully illuminated the dark blue sky that others would be enthralled.
The blonde scanned the outside of the store. It didn't have any 'OPEN 24 HOURS' signs or anything similar, so it was odd for it to be open. He moved himself closer to the glass, peaking through to get a clearer view what was inside.
It was a quiet night, like always. Obviously, this gave Felix an eerie vibe as he examined the store's interior.
Taken by surprise, the peculiar smily face inside slid off the wall, making Felix tense up. This made him take into account that he was the only person there.
The street was desolated and inky. This made the blonde sceptical of the place. It was the only building open, yet it was more degenerate than the other buildings.
In fact, it was the only barren building in the street.
Felix didn't know where he ended up at. He wasn't off-guard, though. Something's definitely fated to happen, he could feel it.
Anyone who found themselves in his situation would have an uncanny feeling. Taking in a deep breath, the Australian pushed open the doors.
He opened the doors, unaware of what he was walking into.
