In middle school most of your friends will change, a lot or a little. Don't get mad at them if they change because you probably changed to. Don't get carried away with how people change, but here are some of the basics; mood, personality and style. Those are the 3 I am going to talk about.
1) Mood~emotions and things they do.
When I was in elementary school I had a bunch of friends but only one BFFL. She was my first choice for everything, seating plans, teams and much more. In grade 5 I started to realize I bit more what people are feeling. I think that just changing with mood is already the worst out of the way. Such as; ex. Your enemy hates you, she wants nothing to do with you. But when you guys go to grade 6, she wants to be you BFF! So back to my story, we weren't in the same homeroom, class nothing! So just walked our own paths for a bit during middle school but then... We became friends. It was awkward at first because we weren't friends for so long. He started to hang out I bit more, but all of a sudden (it's almost the end of the year now) we just un became friends.. Again! So it changed because she used to love to hang out with me now she almost try's to avoid me. She was a really good friend and I told her everything... I still sometimes miss her, but I know that she will never want to be my friend again and that I have lost all hope.
2) Personality~How they act.
So I found this one the easiest to notice. I know that I changed personality wise a lot! I am going to tell you how I changed and you will get what I mean that this happens to your friends.. So I used to always listen, follow the rules, ect. I was a little angel (most of the time) but when I went to middle school and became a teen, it all changed! Now I'm a little.. Lion? I am not scared to speak my thoughts, to say.. Mischievous things, but well now I break the rules bad mouth people and I am a brat! So yea, peoples personalities change.. Plus here is the random example of this chapter! Ex. Your friend would do nothing bad, never swears, nothing! But middle school, she is a complete rebel. She skips school, she likes bad boys, she tags walls and she likes the opposite of everything she used to like! But it's ok, people change when they go through puberty, or just stress about middle school. It's ok, just think back on your self.. If you changed and you were that friend would you be mad? Maybe your friend wants to fit in? You never know just if she try's to change YOUR personality than we have a problem. You can change if you want, if you don't want that's fine. But if a friend try's to change others or yourself than just tell them that you shouldn't try to change others and that it's not all right if they do. Well that's all for personality!
3) style~hot or not!
When you shopping your going to find, T-shirts, jeans, shorts, crop tops and much more! But when you think about style, do you think YOU, or do you think IMPRESS? Well for me it's tricky because I got bullied at school I wanted to impress. But that's NOT what you want to do, EVER! You want style that says YOU! Grab a friend and purse and head to the shopping mall to buy things that say you! But that's your style, what about your friends syles? Most of my friends wear basics, shirt, pants! But other people might wear, really short shorts and a crop top to there ribcage. That to me is a bad outfit, but it's totally fine to wear it's just my OPINION! That's gonna be the keyword for this chapter OPINION! So if you like something your friend dislikes, keep it unless your friend has a really good reason like, they can't wear red shirts or they believe that shorts must me fingertip length. Then you can wear it when your not around them, but do keep in mind that do have to take others opinions sometime.. Only if is a concern or compliment! ;) Anyways... If you take offence to what your friends are wearing just tell them politely, ex. That's shirt that you are wearing makes me fell uncomfortable because..[Reasons] can you maybe change it? If your friend has a weird style that you like you can always ask them where they bought it! And if your friends style is really bugging you, don't be afraid to speak up!
