                     Authors note:
This is slightly different than what happened in the show as wednesday leaves when the sheriff arrives but I wanted to do a slightly cuter version, this is short and a little rush so if it isnt perfect thats because its just a draft<3 (insp:depp_head_143) enjoy!

"We have to go back for Tyler!" I say, running right back into the heart of danger.

I can hear Enid chasing after me, calling my name but all I can think about is the monster in the basement and Tyler being alone in the house, did he escape on his own or is he still there? His warning of the monster's apperance rings in my ears.

We eventually reach the front door of the mansion, I can hear soft groaning from behind the stone arch.

I turn the corner to see Tyler slumped against the wall with his hand to his chest, blood seeping through his fingers.

Enid catches up to us and gives a small gasp at the state Tyler's in.

"Enid hold this." I hand her my torch and kneel down next to him.

"Can you walk?" I whisper, just as someone else comes behind us.

"what happened to him?" Xavier says, I turn around.

"where did you come from?" He doesn't answer, just hands me his scarf to place on Tyler's wound.

I don't have time to decide if Xavier being here just after Tyler being attacked is concrete proof of him being the monster. After all, there are no coincidences.

I apply pressure on the wound using the scarf, Tyler groans loudly and leans his head on the wall, he's shaking really bad and I haven't stopped the bleeding yet.

I can feel my hands start to tremble and tears sting my eyes.

For the first time I realise that there's a possibility Tyler actually might not make it. What will I do? Being the reason of Tyler's death?

"Wednesday..are you ok?" Tyler's words bring me back to reality and I realise I'm shaking just as bad as him now.

I clear my throat to get rid of any weakness or fear in my voice, though there is still a notable tremble in my tone.

"Keep this to your injury, I'm gonna help you up ok?" Tyler just nods in response.

"Help me get him up." I say to Xavier, assuming Enid doesn't want to go to near the blood covered victim.

Tyler leans on both of us, he is a little heavy though that is expected from someone of his size.

We eventually make our way through the gate and slowly make our way to Tyler's car.

After finally finish patching Tyler up and stopping the bleeding we all sit there, exhausted.

"Thanks doc." Tyler whispers, a half hearted smile on his face. I nod at him.

"How are you fe-" I begin but before I can finish the door flys open and sheriff galpin steps in, I stand up quickly.

"What the hell is going on?" He starts walking towards me as Tyler stands up and gets between us.

"Dad I'm fine, it's not Wednesday's fault." Well he certaintly doesn't look fine with four massive cuts dug into his chest.

"Get out. All of you." The sheriff demands.

"Actually I would prefer to stay, someone has to look out for Tyler." I stare intensely at the sheriff and he does the same.

"I want her to stay." Tyler adds

"Fine, I'll take those two home but once I get back I'm taking her too." Enid and Xavier stand up and the sheriff leads them out, Enid gives a wave but Xavier just keeps walking.

Once we hear the front door slam shut Tyler slumps back into his chair, I walk a few steps and sit on the ground beside him.

Eventually I convince Tyler to go to bed, it's been a couple hours since the the others left, the sheriff must've taken them back to the station and made them write a statement on what happened, but that's not what I'm focused on at the moment.

I sit next to Tyler's bed, he hasn't fallen asleep just yet but I can tell he's slowly driftling away. There is still a subconscious fear that he won't wake up again, like if something went wrong after I left and he bled out in his sleep.

He grabs at my hand that I rested upon the edge of his mattress.

"Don't leave.." he mumbles, I'm not even sure he's conscious enough to know what hes doing.

I rub his hand softly with my thumb, I hate physical contact with most people, but he did just survive a monster attack so I suppose he's earned it.

"Tyler?" I whisper into the darkness, there's no response, He's finally fallen asleep.

I slowly get up, grab my bag and move to the door when I abruptly stop. Before I can think about it I turn around and head back to Tyler. I observe him for a minute. One hand behind his head and the other hanging off the side of the bed, the one I was holding, I squint in the darkness and I notice the dry blood still on it and think back to when I first saw him slumped on the wall.

I think about how he groaned and I find myself blushing at the gruesome memory. What the fuck is wrong with me. He's my friend. I'm allowed to be worried about my friend almost being killed, like Eugene. But this felt different to when I found Eugene, I can't describe it, it's an awful feeling, it's like fuzzy but fearsome at the same time.

I lean down, move a couple of loose curls away and place a soft kiss on his forehead. Someone needs to check me out mentally. what.am.I.doing.

I turn around and head for the door, it's dark outside and I'm meant to be on lockdown at the school. I am in deep shit.
