Chapter 16 Family Time

So today was Friday and the day of our little family gathering. Mom told us to come home quickly so I got a ride with Channie and came home as soon as we completed all our classes.

As we got home we were welcomed with mind blowing smell of delicious food which were prepared by Mom and she even decorated our kitchen a bit. But the crazy thing is Mom wanted to do this in a very formal way so she told me to wear a dress and Channie to wear a suit, like seriously? She said she barely see us get dressed properly as Channie and I never went to those business parties and we barely had relatives and all.

She emotionally blackmailed us so we agreed to dress properly but Chan just refused to wear the coat and tie as it was a month of August and the weather was too hot. She literally kicked us out of the kitchen cause Chan and I barely had any patience to wait to have these dishes.

I didn't had a hard time finding a proper dress to wear as Mom had already chose one for me and had placed it in my bed. It was a peach colored sleeveless dress which came a bit above my knees and it was indeed very pretty. Though I didn't wear dresses much, Mom always used to bring dress for me whenever she went to market or aboard and she also always bought a matching heels, so I had no problem. And then I went to bathroom, brushed my teeth, loosely curled my hair, applied some makeup, mascara and a nude lipgloss and I was ready.

When I got down Chan was already there, he was wearing a white shirt with black pants and though he is my brother I had to agree to the fact that he was looking so hot. Mom and Chan heard me coming and they looked back toward me and their jaw dropped like I know I looked pretty good but haha I hadn't expected this reaction from them.

"Awww my baby looks so stunning." My mom clicked my photos with a camera which I didn't noticed earlier and she hugged me. Chan had a huge grin in his face, "Can I have your numba lady?" Chan winked at me with his sucking American accent. "Shut up." I laughed and hit him in his arm.

"Ok kiddos the dinner is ready to be served, just bring those wine glasses from the cupboard and be in the dining." Mom yelled. "Be there in a sec!" Chan yelled back and went to get those wine glasses as mom ordered but not before winking at me." "Moooooom~ Chan is flirting with me!!" I said walking to the dining but mom just laughed. "Can't help when my lil sister looks so pretty." Chan placed those wine glasses on the table and like a gentleman he pulled out chair for Mom and kissed her cheeks and did the same with me, "After you ladies." He remarked and seated himself.

"So am I officially allowed to drink?" I asked referring to those wine glass cause my mom never let me drink, as I was still underaged. "Of course not, you are..." She stood up and went to Fridge and returned with a orange juice. "..going to have this." She smiled and poured that juice in my glass and I was sulking of the fact that Chan was allowed to drink but not me?

And the dinner ended well that means without any food fights or Mom blabbering about god knows what or Chan surviving the dinner without falling out of chair which he always did as he can't control his laugher. It was so much better than I had expected. We had the dishes and Mom brought dessert which was AMYAZING!! And then we just talked on the table for a while and now we were here in the living room, in our pajamas shuffling through the CDs searching for a nice movie to watch.

"So what do you guys wanna watch?" I asked flipping through all the bunch of movies I had. "AMAZING SPIDERMAN!!" "Some Chick flick will work." Mom and Chan cheered at the same time. "None of them." I glared, "What about The Avengers?" I asked wiggling my eyebrows. "That will work, right mom?" Chan grinned and we both looked at momma, "Sure!!" She clapped her hands. Seriously? Is she 4?

I inserted the disc in the DVD player and seated myself next to mom, who was now in between me and Chan. The lights were turned off, I took the packet of nachos from my mom's lap only to find it empty, seriously! They finished it before the movie started. I snorted and quietly went to kitchen to get another pack of nachos.

When I came back mom was already asleep with her head on Chan's shoulder, "Look at the one who wanted to watch a movie together." I laughed and I sat beside Chan. "Isn't she crazy?" Chan chuckled, "You mean craziest? Of course she is our mother." I winked at Chan and he laughed and placed his hand around my shoulder and I rested my head in his shoulder. "Had a good time?" Mom asked in her sleepy voice, was she still awake? "Best!!" Chan and I said at the same time and from the corner of my eye I could see them smiling which made me smile too. "Love ya both!" She said again. "I love you too!" Chan said kissing mom's head and then my head. "I love ya three!" I exclaimed.

OK OK i'm still alive if you thought i was dead meat. Hahaha LONG TIME NO SEE? Sorry i was not able to update and you can't really blame me. This is not a excuse but you may have heard about the massive, devastating Earthquake in Nepal right? And where am i from? Nepal! So how am I supposed to get ideas for a chapter and all when my country is in dust, mourning. This is so frustrating when we have to feel earthquakes after earthquakes. I pity our life, like we have to be in standby cause we don't know when the quake is coming and just run like fucking Milka Singh as soon as we feel shaky. We even had to sleep in the ground for days cause we never know. Felt like those homeless people.

But right now can we just talk about LOVE ME RIGHT? O H M A G A D!!!!! Always dreamed of those hot footballers in their rugby uniform but neveeeeer thought SM would change our kiddos into one!!!!!!! OT9 😭 this is suchhhhh a heartbreak and i sooooo miss TAORISHAN! I'm swear they'd look soooo cool as footballer and Luhan would be like, "I look manlier than all of you!" And hahaha Krease be like "Rugby nae style aniya!" XD

Hope you guys enjoyed this chapter though it was kinda boring but just thank me that you guys got an update, okay? and i have my finals in 1 week. OMGGGGGG WISH ME LUCK!!!! I love
