He softly stroked Nightmares skull while humming to himself, it was so peaceful and quiet in the house.

All that could be heard was the low purring of Nightmare and the occasional meow Sansy let out. Nightmare was laying on Ccino on the couch, nuzzling into his neck, the purrs vibrations sent chills down Ccinos spine.

Sansy glared in jealousy, why wasn't he getting all the attention?

Nightmares tendrils lay loosely on the couch, he was in a state of pure relaxation. He needed this after dealing with so much stress lately. Ccino was starting to feel a bit drowsy himself his hands moving slower.

Nightmare was like a big weighted blanket on him. Feeling tired he slowly closed his eyes and lay his skull against Nightmares, drifting off into a tranquil rest.

Nightmare was half asleep, he wasn't really tired, he never really is tired he was just relaxed, he loved this.

He did feel a little hungry but he wanted to stay like this for another while.

-timeskip 20 mins later-

Ccino slept soundly under him, he was out cold. Nightmare awoke to feel pain in his stomach area, he was starving. He didn't want to disturb the sleeping barista so he gently got up off him, putting a blanket over him.

Stepping away from the couch he clutched his stomach, he didn't know he was that hungry, he hadn't eaten in almost 24 hours and that was a long time for a vampire.

He left Ccinos house through the front door and started walking down the snowy path.

Ccino wasn't like other sanses, he didn't live directly in snowdin he lived a long way away from it. He lived in a small bungalow in the middle of no where, deep in a forest. His cafe was in snowdin though so it took a while to go there and all the way back, luckily Nightmare would stay till he was closing and would save him from that treacherous walk by teleporting him back home.

Nightmare entered the forest, sensing for lost souls or people who were stupid enough to wonder down here.

It was night so it was pretty dark, not an issue for Nightmare though since he could see perfectly in any darkness.

He walked for about five minutes before hearing the footsteps of someone or something.

At that point he didn't really care what it was, he just needed to feed.
He tried to sense where it was via negative emotions, whoever it was they were pretty scared already.

He silently walked towards the source searching for them. The negativity only growing as he went deeper into the forest.

The trees loomed over him, blocking the night sky while standing eerily tall.
The crunching of twigs could be heard further ahead which only made Nightmares smile bigger.

He scanned the area and his eyes landed on someone leaning against a tree, they were pretty far away so he couldn't tell if they were a human or monster. They were at a clearing, a small grass hill with a big tree.

Humans blood was better than monsters, purer ,stronger, thicker, it had a stronger, distinctive taste and smell but Nightmare didn't care, he was hungry.

Without a sound he teleported infront of whoever it was.

She immediately flinched and backed up further against the tree.

She was a wolf, like the ones back in Dreamtale. Wearing an old fashioned dress with a bow. She looked about 20.

Bearing her teeth she started snarling, he remembered that was their defence mechanism. It was useless, he killed every one of them.
