"Great. I lost the others. But it does look like I'm near where I'm supposed to be at least." Alexis says as she doesn't see the others.
"Evening lass." A voice says revealing to be Buck as he drops down in front of Alexis.
"Ah!" Alexis says as she jumps back.
"Startle you did I?" Buck asks as he smirks.
"No. You just caught me off guard that's all." Alexis says annoyedly.
"You know you shouldn't be out here alone. Your friends done figured that out." Buck says.
"What!? What happened!?" Alexis asks in alarm.
"Relax. They just got eaten by a plant but they're fine now. I helped them out." Buck says.
"Oh thank goodness. Whoa! Back up." Alexis says as buck sniffs her.
"Sorry. Just curious as to why a sabertooth cat would adopt a direwolf. " Buck says.
"It's a adoptive sibling relationship. Besides I lost my pack. He did too before we became part of Manny's herd." Alexis says.
"Really now?" Buck asks curiously.
"Yeah. Do you know where my friends are? I got separated from them." Alexis says.
"Of course. I can take you to them. That's why I'm here. To bring you to them." Buck says.
"Oh well then let's get going." Alexis says as she starts walking with Buck.
"You know your brother was worried right?" Buck asks.
"I can imagine so but he treats me like a puppy still. I don't like being treated like I can't handle myself." Alexis says annoyedly.
"I can see that. Girl with an adventurous and fearless heart. My kind of person!" Buck says happily.
"My brother doesn't look at it that way. But then again he never usually likes for me to be far from him." Alexis says as she sighs.
"Well maybe he just needs to be shown what you can do. Besides I like your adventurous streak." Buck says as he smiles causing Alexis to smile softly at him.
"So Wr. wild man do you live down here alone? No responsibilities to worry about?" Alexis asks curiously.
"Not one! It's incredible. No dependence. No limits. The greatest life a single guy can have." Buck says.
"Doesn't it get lonely?" Alexis asks.
"It can but usual most of the ladies I meet can't handle my kind of adventure." Buck says.
"I have similar issues but Diego doesn't help that much." Alexis says.
*Timeskip*
"I'm glad you're alright. I really wish you'd stop running off on your own like that." Diego says as Alexis is later laying with him.
"I can handle myself Diego." Alexis says in annoyance.
"I just don't want you to get hurt." Diego says.
"Diego you always treat me like a child. Don't you realize that?" Alexis asks as she looks at Diego.
"Alexis I just don't want to see you hurt. You're part of my pack." Diego says.
"I know but..." Alexis says as she looks down.
"Look I'm sorry if I have been a little over protective but you mean a lot to me." Diego says as Alexis looks at him.
"What about my happiness? Of course I don't mind to be with you but I can't stay in your pack forever. I have to find where I belong at. Somewhere that I'm truly happy... Someone who makes me truly happy." Alexis says.
"We'll talk about it once we get home." Diego says as Alexis sighs.
"Fine." Alexis says as she reluctantly lays her head down.
