Kay, different from a young age, knew she wasn't normal. Whenever things didn't go her way, something... Unusual would happen. For that reason, her mother, who she lives with, after the divorce, took her (her father was caught cheating & has visitation rights). Her mother didn't trust her with dangerous things in case the “unusual” things happened.
Her step-mom refused to be near Kay, and she calls her a ‘freak’. Her father doesn't hang out with her as much as he used to.
Upon entering Hogwarts at eleven, she was mean and rude to everyone around her because she didn't want to be hurt or insulted. She was sorted into Slytherin, the house of the cunning and ambitious, which, she was, actually.

She was a muggle-born in Slytherin. Another reason she kept her mouth shut or yelled at anyone talking to her.

Alas, she met the twins, Emily Potter (Itz_Snowflake_Playz) and Harry Potter. It was unavoidable, they shared most classes. Soon, she became friends with them.
