Elara - TW: panic attack.

I'm not gonna sit here and straight out lie, saying that the bed rowan has provided me wasn't comfortable.

it was better than my bed at home.

Don't tell him that though.

After waking up around 7:30, I hopped into the shower and changed into a white long-sleeved turtle neck, paired with black flared jeans. And of course my pendant necklace, and a few rings and bracelets.

As for my hair, I blowdried and just put it in a ponytail.

Now I'm walking down the huge staircase, towards the kitchen. Alexander sit's at the table, phone in one hand, and a bagel in the other.

When he notices me, he straightens his back and whips any crumbs that are on his mouth and or clothes.

"Elara!" He smirks at me.

"Hello, Alexander," I reply, shooting him a small smile, and grabbing a mug.

"Oh! I made some coffee already. Here, allow me." I let him take the mug out of my hand when he walks up to me.

Alexander poor's about haft into the mug, then opens the fridge.

"Vanilla or white chocolate mocha?" He asks me, glancing at my face for an answer.

I still for a second. Does Rowan like white chocolate mocha?

"White chocolate mocha please," I replied finally.

"You got it."

Alexander hands me my hot coffee and I thank him in return, going to sit on a Stool.

Alexander sits right beside me.

"So. You and Rowan huh?" He raises his eyebrows.

I almost spit out my coffee.

"What?! Why would you think that?" I furrow my eyebrows at him.

Alexander looks at me like I just said the dumbest thing on the planet. "Uh, I don't know. Maybe all that sexual tension between y'all?"

I laugh at that. "You're crazy."

He grins, bumping his shoulder with mine. "Eh maybe. But it makes me quite unique if I don't say so myself." He imitates a British accent in the last sentence.

We both laugh quietly at his comment, unaware that Rowan just walked into the kitchen.

"Shouldn't you be in my office brother?" Rowan stands there with a blank face and crossed arms.

"What? it's only 8:05. Meeting doesn't start for another five minutes." He shoots back, "Besides, I'm getting to know my new bestie here." He slings an arm over my shoulder, pulling me into a side hug.

Rowan's eyes turn stone cold as they lock onto the arm slung around my shoulder.

Rowan looks back at Alexander in the eyes, challenging him to try him.

"Right," Alexander mutters, letting go of me and hopping off the stool.

"Good day madam." He bows playfully, then walks away.

I giggle quietly at his silly acts.

Alexander seems like he could be a brother I never got to have. And I like that idea.

"I trust you're getting settled in."

Oh Jesus, I almost forgot rowan was in the room.

I meet his eyes and shrug. "Alex seems to like me."
