Chapter 3

"All five Chakra natures?" you gasp, "But I've never been here before."

"That's the mystery of it." Naruto rues.

You stare at your hands again, and they're slightly glowing. A warm, auburn hue flickers across your hands before snuffing out and making your hand look as ordinary as possible. You try to summon the chakra to your fingers again, but its a fruitless effort.

"Do you know any jutsu (Y/N)?" Sasuke asks.

You nod and perform Chidori. It's a small and simple jutsu that you learned how to do with your friend when you guys were bored. You concentrate the lighting chakra to your hands as you perform the hand signs.

Ox, Rabbit, and Monkey.

Nothing happens for a couple seconds, and you feel kind of dissapointed. But then then the next minute, lightning engulfs your hand. Chakra's flaming in your hand, taking the form of lighting.

Screams erupt from everyone around you, except Sasuke, as they all claw away from the Chidori. You try to shake your arm to rid yourself of the Chidori, but that only causes it to flare up your arm.

You leap off of Akamaru and curl up into a ball, making sure that your hand's away from you to prevent anyone from getting hurt. Sasuke is beside you in an instant, and you try to yank your hand out the the way, but Sasuke's faster. 

He merely grabs your wrist and tosses you into the sky. You go flying, the cool air rushing against your face before you begin  losing altitude. Your hand penetrates a tree, felling in quickly. The tree shakes the whole forest, and you're surprised at the damage you've done.

Your Chidori was so powerful it went right THROUGH the tree, and out the other side, and from what you can see, it wasn't minimal.

Sasuke looks at you, impressed. He gives you a hand and hauls you up.

"You have potential (Y/N), seeing what you've just done," he waves his hand at the tree. "We've still got a couple of days before we reach Kumogakure. I'll be glad to train you as my pupil, if you accept me as a Sensei." his smile becomes scornful, and he bites his bottom lip. "Trust me when I say I won't be going easy on you." he warns.

Sasuke as a sensei, YES PLEASE! 

You bring your fingertips together again, and this time, actual chakra slips out of your fingers. You watch as the chakra flickers in the air for a moment before dissolving. You suddenly feel really exhausted, because your chakra's escaped.

Sasuke hauls you up my the arms before you can collapse on the ground though. He picks you up and throws you over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. You begin to protest, but it kind of feels nice, having someone walk for you.

Akamaru trots beside you and Sasuke, and Kiba's riding Akamaru. Shikamaru and Choji are lying sideway's on Akamaru, pointing out the clouds to each other. Shikamaru and Choji haven't talked to you much since the beginning of the trip, they've been a bit aloof. You've spent most of your time talking to Sasuke, Naruto, Gaara and Kiba.

Sasuke continues the conversation, keeping you on his shoulder. Occasionally, he attempts to carry you bridal style, but Naruto's look of fury keeps you on his shoulder.  

"That was some Ninjutsu kid." Sasuke comments, forcing himself not to look at Naruto, because he decided to try to carry you bridal style, and Naruto's shooting daggers at you with his eyes.

Pride rises in you, and you grin at Naruto, beckoning him to come over.

"You won't mind if I steal your boyfriend, right Naruto?" you ask.

Naruto blushes a furious red and leans towards you, whispering,

"You wish. Sasuke's mine. If you want him, you're gonna have to tell me what he's like in bed. Cuz I like myself a fiesty partner."

"NARUTO!" you yelp, causing Sasuke to nearly drop you. "You dirty rotten pervert."

Naruto triumphantly smirks at you. You're about to knock some sense into the idiot, but Sasuke intervenes.

"Cut it out, you two. (Y/N), I'm gonna drop you. I don't wanna carry you anymore."

Sasuke unceremoniously dumps you onto the ground, but you don't want to seem like a baby, so you get up, brush the dust off of your shoulders, and deal with it.

Everyone's crowded around you again, looking at you. Everyone's silent, even Choji doesn't have a snack with him. The only noise are Akamaru's pants and the wind.

"(Y/N). How do you know Chidori? I know Sasuke took a long time to learn it himself, and it's no easy task to accomplish." Shikamaru asks.

"I just kinda watched you guys do it. I have a photographic memory, meaning I only need to see something once to be able to remember it." you reply. You've always prided yourself on your photographic memory, and you're always asking your friends to test you.

"Remember this then. Memorize it. I will ask you to remember it when done. You do know all the hand signs right?"

You give Sasuke a small nod.

Sasuke hands you a piece of paper with Japanese writing, kanji, on it, and the weird thing is that you can understand. It reads,

Ox → Monkey → Hare → Rat → Boar → Bird → Ox → Horse → Bird → Rat → Tiger → Dog → Tiger → Snake → Ox → Ram → Snake → Boar → Ram → Rat → Yang Water → Monkey → Bird → Dragon → Bird → Ox → Horse → Ram → Tiger → Snake → Rat → Monkey → Hare → Boar → Dragon → Ram → Rat → Ox → Monkey → Bird → Yang Water → Rat → Boar → Bird

You hand the paper back to Sasuke, who gives you a quizzical look then tosses the paper over his shoulder. 

"Remember that order. I will ask you to perform it when the time is right, and I don't want hesitation. I mean it. After today, we will begin training, and we'll see what you're capable of."

You feel a slight tugging at your hair, and you turn around to see what's causing it.

Gaara sits behind you, twirling and toying with your hair. You reach up into your hair and feel some sand scattered throughout. Gaara's swirling his hands over your hair, slowly summoning the sand out of it. He smiles and ruffles your hair.

Sasuke and Naruto have gotten back to staring at each other in a lovesick way, their eyes locked with each other. You wave your hand in front of their faces. Sasuke glares at you and then shoves your hand away, cupping his hands around Naruto's face. 

He leans in, holding his other hand up, blocking them from your view. Since you can't see them, you decide that they can't see you. Both lovebirds seem to be VERY immersed in the kiss, and you call Kiba over. You give the camera to Shikamaru, and you, Kiba, and Gaara make bunny ears behind Naruto and Sasuke. 

Sasuke unfortunately opens his eyes at the wrong time, and sees you doing this. He lets out a yell of anger before violently slapping you off of Akamaru, sending you tumbling onto the ground.

You get up and laugh, watching Sasuke. He holds Naruto's face, but Naruto yanks himself away, jumps off of Akamaru, and heads over to you. He perks your chin up and cups your face in his hands, checking for any bruises.

"Ok, you're fine." he sighs. He gives you a small kiss on the forehead, and then you see that he blushes as he does this. You play with his fluffy blond hair, grabbing some clips off the rubber band on your wrist. You always carry clips and rubber bands with you, because you never know when they can be useful.

You randomly place clips throughout Naruto's hair, then gather his long hair into a small ponytail and use a rubber band on it. He looks like a complete doofus.

Sasuke's watching you with a scowl on his face, watching you play with Naruto like that. His scowl suggests that he's mad at you, and the crazed look on his face just shows how he's gonna make tomorrow a living hell for you because you stole his Naruto.
