Do you keep thinking to yourself how do I make it stop how do I move on from loving a man who doesn't know what love is? But the truth is that you'll never stop, you can't help but see the best in him. Even after he's broken you down time and time again, telling you that you're worthless and no one will ever love you and you're nothing without him. But you still love him, you're still holding on to the hope that someday he'll change, and you keep giving him chance after chance to change.

You still loved him with your entire being you would have given him the world, but you can only take so much until you've had enough before you want to call it quits.

But here are the reasons that you probably didn't leave, they made promises that they would change and that things would be different, and they were but only for a short while then they went back to doing the same shit again and you try to leave again but then they make the same promises and you go through this over and over and over again, and then you finally get tired of the never-ending circles and you finally leave no more chances, you're done. And even though you aren't with him anymore he still makes your life miserable and he terrorizes you. So even after you leave you're still not safe and then one day he finds someone else. But every. Single. Part of you still loves him. You never stop, you never stop wanting him and you never stop thinking of the what-ifs.

"What if he's right what if I am nothing without him"

That's the first "what if."
But the truth is he's the one that's nothing without you, he's nothing without the pain he causes, he's nothing without making you feel small, he's nothing without the tears he's caused for the one-hundredth time in one day.

"What if he meant it this time?"

That's the second"what if."
He's never going to mean it he's never going to change because the truth is you only change for who you want to change for and baby girl that's not you, if he was going to change he would have the first and second time he told you that he would change.
But he didn't.
He didn't change because he doesn't care. You're feelings don't matter to him because he only cares about himself, because if he loved you the way he said he loved you
Tears wouldn't be falling from your eyes
You wouldn't be wondering what you did so wrong for him to treat you this way.

"What if it's me?"

That's the third "what if?"
It's not you.
You never were the problem it was always him.
A man who truly loves you will never make you feel the way he did (or does so it's okay to walkway).
It's okay to cry but sweet sweet girl he's not worth a single tear that falls from your eyes
He's not worth your heart breaking, yes it hurts like hell yes and it's going to because you gave your all and got nothing but broken.

But what if you find a man who knows your worth but then adds even more
What if
He takes away all of your pain and wipes away every tear you cry.
Because you will. This is not the end, he's not the end. Yes I know he's all you've known for a while but he's not it so don't settle don't go back.
