A whole day has passed.

Taeha could not believe that the man she was once dancing with during the gathering of the lands was comfortably sleeping in front of her. The moment that her eyes laid on him years ago, she knew that he was beauty personified, but it was even more overwhelming right now.

The sun was hitting his face and his hair, which she never noticed was long enough to reach his ears, was moving as he took deep breaths in and out. His eyes were closed and he was lucky that the light only set on his lower face or else he would've been woken up just as she did.

Maybe she was the lucky one.

Her hand reaches out to push back his hair to give her a perfect view of his face. He reacts after her hand slides through his face, but it wasn't enough to wake him up.

Taeha pulls her hand back and simply stares at him. She does not want to admit her feelings towards this man, however, she was sure that with every breathing moment after this it shall be clear to him.

With a smile on her face she leans in closer to kiss the tip of his nose prompting the prince to wake up.

"Good morning." His voice hoarse from just waking up and one of his eyes remained closed. "Did you sleep well?"

If she was honest, his voice made things circle in her that she never thought would ever react or circle again.

His lazy hand moved up and gently began caressing her cheeks. Both his eyes were barely open, but they were looking at her.

The lower part of his face was like a reflector that made only him shine in her eyes. His messy hair and exposed upper half made her feel as if she was still dreaming. In all honesty she wanted to pinch herself and check whether or not she was still dreaming.

Hendery with what little morning strength he had in him leans in closer to peck her lips. He moves back with a smile on his face.

"Morning." She responds unable to hide the smile on her face. Taeha only noticed that her voice was just as hoarse as his, but the only thing that's different is that his was much more attractive than their own.

He leans in once again to kiss her. This time however, Taeha watched as he moved back with his eyes still closed as if he was still kissing her. As if she was still lingering on him.

"We must get up," she chuckles at the sight of the prince basking in the sun, "the attendants will come and knock on the door soon."

"And yet they cannot enter unless I tell them to." Hendery adjusted himself once again, pulling the princess into his arms.

"We must not make use of power like that." She hits his bare chest.

"Then they should at least understand that we are newly weds."

Newlyweds sounded so foreign to her ears. She never thought she would be one, especially not in such a short amount of time.

"May I bask in the moment where I am not a prince and simply your husband?" Hendery rubs his forehead on the top of Taeha's head.

"Have we not done that yesterday?"

Hendery moves back and gently tugs her chin to look him in the eye. "What we did yesterday was," he pauses, not even hiding the fact that the obvious thought made him happy, "as raw as man and woman we could get." He leans his forehead onto hers.

If she was honest, she wanted this peace to remain, for it to be the only thing that they could share. She hopes that in the future if fate truly allows it that they may experience this solitude once again.
