The roaring crowd was loud and wild. I was sitting on Biffy's shoulders, shouting loudly along with the lyrics. The DoD are Biffy and I's favorit band. We were there with our friends, Holger, Cam, Tina, Jenny, Greta and Lee. We had stuck together after graduation and many of us were in college, except for Biffy, who had gotten a special offer at a video game and electronic development company. It paid well and he got me and himself a ticket. The rest got theirs as a personal gift from Cyrus. 

Cyrus and I used to be great friends. We have still kept in touch, even after graduation. Right after he auditioned with DoD and one thing lead to another. They got enrolled with a company and got an agent. After that it was hard to keep in touch. But we had arranged a dinner after the concert. 

"Holger thinks he lost hearing in ear hole!" Holger shouted loudly in the pizza place. Yes, most of us were in college and we still consider pizza a proper dinner. "Bro! Imma lose my hearing if you keep shouting!" Cam shouted, his scrunching up in anger. "What!?"

"thanks for coming to the concert guys, I didn't expect so many people. Its way more than what we used to perform for in school" Cyrus said, holding a can of green apple splat. He looked down at me and smiled. I smiled back. I forgot how much I missed seeing him in real life. All of us had changed so much since we graduated. The big things were Holger had cut his hair, after being in an accident with some gum. Lee had decided to stop dying almost all his hair, but had the tips of his hair red instead. Else we were pretty much the same. 

Cyrus had his hair up in a bun, so it was easier to eat. We sat next to each other, and I couldn't help but feel happy. "Cam, How's it going with Brandy?" Lee asked all of a sudden. The two were still like a highschool romance. We had seen their instagram and social media status and it was-

"She just goes on and off bro! I don't understand the chiquita's man!" Cam complained, stuffing his face with pizza. He really tried his best to be on Brandy's good side. We all had fun the rest of the night and eventually decided to start heading home or to our college campus. Lee's brother arrived on his motorcycle, after his mothers demands to come home. 

Greta and Holger took their bikes, while Biffy took a taxi with Jenny and Tina to their college campus. Cam didn't live too far away from the pizza place and decided to walk home, till' he got a call by Brandy, saying he should get over and walk her home from a party at Kimmy's place. That left Cyrus and I. "You need a ride?" Cyrus asked, walking over to his pickup truck. I nodded and got in.

We were silent throughout the ride, till' I got to my campus. Cyrus hadn't said much the entire evening, so I decided to asked him about it. "You have been quite... Quiet... Is something up?" I asked, seeing his expression change a bit, his eyes fixed on the road, though we held still infront of my campus. "Its been hard... With the whole rock and roll thing. The company has demanded another sound by tommorrow already. Donna is doing everything she can to push the deadline." Cyrus explained.

Now that I looked closer at him, he had dark circles around his eyes. "But your good at making songs!"

"Yeah, but they want a NEW sound. They want something more original and not so Dudes of Darkness-ish" Cyrus burst out, his forehead against the steering wheel. I placed a hand behind his back and pulled his head onto my shoulder. I did not have any words left to comfort. I was not good at comforting. But my actions were louder. We sat for hours just holding each other...

A bit of angst, yet fluff and sorry it was short, I can't think
