It was left just me miss Abbie and Fred so we had an adult, a leader, a best friend and a medic. seems like a good crew don't ya think? Well it was except we kinda didn't know what we were against, it hides in the shadows and strikes when we won't be able to realise automatically, whatever it is it's smart and knows our weaknesses.
About an hour passed without anything but walking happening when we came across more blood this time it wasn't a student...
There were two bodies when we shone the light on them it was frank and obviously someone he knew's because they seemed to have died hand in hand but they were mutilated, most of there limbs hanging on by slight strands of flesh except there arms where they were hand in hand.
"Awww adorable, but this is why e left us in the dark with no exit really" Abbie said, she seemed pretty frustrated at this point.
I spotted the torch on the floor next to frank. I picked the torch up but purposely didn't give Abbie her phone back. I just slipped it into my pocket and pretended i didn't have it.
Now we were walking again and I had a weird feeling we were being lured further and further into the tunnels just by the dead bodies. I felt like we needed to stop and have a discussion, but what was there to discuss? We have kinda spoken about everything that has happened openly.
I swung my head around and asked "so guys I have a feeling someone's not saying something to the group..."
Everyone stayed quiet until Fred put his hand up and said "well... I might have a slight idea what we are being attacked by..."
"Why didn't you say anything?" I asked
"I thought I needed more evidence as to what it was before I said anything or worried you guys?" He replied shrugging his shoulders to the bottom of his face.
"So what is it?" I asked now intrigued
"Well I think it might be a lord of the undead killing people in the knowing that it can never die..." he said in a spooky voice
"Well shit" Abbie said again
"Abbie you still really don't give a single crap about the fact that down here is our inevitable death do you?" I said again getting slightly tempered
"Nope" Abbie said joyfully and skipped into the darkness humming a happy tune.
"Oh god well we're going to have to follow her aren't we I mean I can't loose everything especially my best friend" I said.
So we followed the humming of Abbie when it stopped and formed a kind of scream, we all ran to see what had happened. when we finally caught up she was standing alone in a clearing, something didn't seem right. why did she scream if she was alone? I pointed the torch at her and what I saw shocked me.
