"Lucyyyy~! You're gonna love me!" You chirped. "More than you already do!"
Your voice echoed out throughout the halls and chambers of the castle. Your footsteps clicking on the marble grey and white floor, you stopped patiently and admired some of the new interior decoration they had added to the foyer. One of the guards attempted to have you take a step back into the hallway but you snarkily waved away his gesture and gave him a stern expression.
"Watch the hands, bud."
"Y/n, darling, so nice to see your face~." Lilith cooed, sauntering into the grand foyer and approaching you for a hug. Her sleeves fanned out as she opened her arms for the embrace, almost like angel wings. Giving you a platonic smooch on each cheek as a way of saying 'hello', she pulled away and took a good look at you. "My little doll, I've missed you! I'm glad to have you here, come in, hang up your coat and get comfortable!"
"Lily, looking as majestic as always! I missed your beautiful self, I heard you just got back from tour!"
"Yes, three to five shows in each ring of Hell; each one of them was sold out." She hummed happily.
"That's fantastic! And how's everything going with Charlie?"
"We're in the midst of setting up her 102nd birthday party, but it's a surprise so don't say anything!" She said with a whisper, holding her index finger over her lips. You grinned widely and nodded with excitement.
"She's getting so big I can't believe it," you sighed. "Feels like just yesterday you two brought her home from the hospital."
"Oh believe me I know, sometimes I miss those days too." She sighed gently with a smile, placing a hand over her heart as she fondly reminisced.
"You miss the diaper days? Really?" You chuckled.
"They're so dependent and cuddly at that age. Now she doesn't want to snuggle and spend time with her Momma, she'd rather play with dolls, watch cartoons, and get into trouble." Lilith said with a giggle. "But that's a part of having a child, they have to start growing up someday."
"Wait till she's a teenager." You snickered. "You'll wish she was still playing with dolls."
"I'll be sending her off to spend time with her Aunt Y/n when that time comes." She said with a wink.
"Hah!" You scoffed. "Lil', you're funny."
Now granted, you weren't the biological Aunt of Charlotte Morningstar. While you weren't directly related to the Morningstar family you were very close family friends, and they treated you like you were their own flesh and blood.
Your father had been long time friends with Lucifer, he was even the best man at the royal wedding. Lucifer and Lilith had known about you since you were a baby and just couldn't wait to meet you one day; and watched upon you from a far until the day you finally left earth and came home to Hell. But that was twenty some odd years after you were born, and that too was a couple centuries ago. Since that day you were like family to them as well.
Suddenly a loud crash from one of the rooms upstairs had alerted you and Lilith. "That sounded expensive..." you winced.
"MOMMYYYYYY~!" Charlie's little voice cried out.
"Excuse me, love." Lilith said, off to tend to her little one.
"Of course."
"Y/n! My little devil," Lucifers voice rang as he walked in almost on cue. You grinned as he approached. "what brings you here?"
"I have some rather fun news... Another soul from the world above, sir." You said. "Man by the name of Alastor."
"You snagged another one, eh?" He said with a chuckle.
