"Absolutely not."

"But dad-!"

"No 'buts'."

"Why not??"

"You know the risk of bringing a mortal here before their time!!"

"Well it's that or we circle back to the alternative," you huffed. Folding your arms across your chest. "Which, in my opinion, is much safer for all involved."

You and Alastor had a talk. And decided, ultimately, that you would try to convince your parents to meet him one way or another. Having expressed that it's a dicey situation regardless of how you go about it, he understood, and reassured you that if it was too risky then perhaps it wasn't meant to happen.

But you were persistent knowing how much it meant to him. Figuring if you could just bring your folks over to his home for dinner or something of the like, it wouldn't be an issue; seeing as you'd all be in the confines of privacy.

And to be fair, even if there was another person in or near Alastors house, chances are they wouldn't live to tell about you and your family.

As far as you and anyone else was concerned, it was all a matter of everyone simply keeping their mouth shut.

Your father clasped his hands together and sucked in a breath.

"Y/n." He stated firmly. "I'm retired from deal making with humans; I can't go back and forth anymore, like you can. Your mother has been deceased for centuries and has no arrangement like you do. If Lucifer finds out we went to earth with you-"

"Who is gonna tell him?!" You interrupted with a laugh. "Just a little get-together at Al's place, nothing crazy, nothing public; let me bring you one time. I really want you to meet him, dad! He means a lot to me, and this is important to us. I want you and mom to come with me to the mortal realm just this one time."

"We're going to the mortal realm??" Your mother echoed from the other room. Practically able to see the excitement bubbling over in her face without even looking at her.

"Great..." he sighed. Pinching the bridge of his nose.

Meanwhile, you bit back a smirk as you heard footsteps scampering closer at a quick pace.

You may or may not have hoped that she was listening from the other room. Having a hunch she would have had your full support (or at least, mostly). Especially seeing as she was human once too, you knew she'd likely appreciate a chance to visit earth again- even if it was only for a short while.

Right on cue the demoness came hauling ass out of the kitchen and skid on her feet to a stop in front of the doorway before hurrying on up to the two of you.

"Wanna meet my sweetheart, ma?" You asked with a cockeyed grin.

Her eyes lit up like a shooting star across the sky. A smile stretching across her gentle features to match. The sweet woman was practically about to start vibrating with excitement at the mere mention of it.

"Ooooo!!!" She squeaked happily.

"No," your dad intervened. "No no no-"
