You wake up to your alarm in the morning, sun rays peeking through your curtains straight into your eyes. (That's always fun.) You get up make a cup of coffee and start getting ready for the day. After you do everything you get your shoes on and head out the door. You drive your way to work and finally make it. As your walking into the pizzaplex you feel a sense of excitement running over you. You unlock the door to the daycare, go to your desk, and set down your stuff.
After you get all your stuff situated you decide to look around for Sun while tiding up the daycare getting it ready for the kiddos. You can't find sun anywhere so you go to their room. There you find Sunny slouched in a corner still plugged in. You turn on the lights, unplug Sun, and wait for him to turn on. While you're sitting on a chair in their room you start to look around. You look to your left and find a wall, covered top to bottom with drawings from kids of Sun and another character. He looks exactly like Sunny but blue and he didn't have any rays. You get up and go over to the drawing to have a closer look.
As you're looking at all the drawings you hear bells behind you. You turn around to see Sun sitting in the same chair that you were in before. "Oh, good morning Sun! How are you feeling?" "I'm feeling pretty good! What about you sunshine?" Sun jumps up and starts skipping over to you. You feel your face get hot at the name. No one's called you a name like that, ever. "I-I'm alright. We better get ready for the kids." You head out of the room. Sun seem curious about how you acted when he called you sunshine. He calls everyone that and no ones ever had a reaction like yours.
Sun follows you out of the room. And down to the play area. After a couple minutes of talking and getting ready you're finally ready to open the daycare. You walk over to the door with the keys along with Sun following you happily. You open the doors and outside are waiting all the kids along with their parents waiting for them to go inside. All the kids say bye and give their parents a hug, except for a couple who just ran right to Sunny. You wave bye to the parents and close the doors. You turn around to see a group of small children surrounding Sun who is jumping and smiling with joy.
