Sun's rays completely retract into his head in a snap. You can see his hands tremble as he taps and plays with his fingers and hands even more now. You reach and hand out, pausing for a second before setting a hand on Sun's knee. You rub it lightly with a thumb which seems to calm him down just a bit, his rays start peeking lightly out of his face plate but he's still tapping his fingers together nervously. "I will see what I can do before your upgrades. I promise everything will be okay." You smile up at Sun which calms him completely, his Sun rays peek out from his face plate and he sets his hands down in his lap.
He stares at you for a bit, not saying anything, not moving, just staring. The same way he was when you first closed the daycare. 'He must be talking to Moon again.' As you sit there you can hear his fans whirring inside of his chest. Finally, he comes back to reality (well back from talking to Moon about something) and looks down. You still have you hand on his leg but now it's moved up a little onto his thigh. You must've slid your hand up his leg on accident since you didn't notice before. His rays start spinning around slowly, still staring down at your hand. You pull away quickly, apologizing while doing so. "I'm so sorry about that, I didn't even real-" You're cut off by Sun putting his hand back on your thigh in return. "It's alright Starlight, I don't mind!"
As you look down you can feel your face get hot. You try to hide your face in the palm of your hand while looking away. All of a sudden, Sun grabs Moon's hat which was sitting on your desk, gets up and walks over to the ballpit, calling the aerial wire down. He attached it to his back, lightly jumping off the floor floating up to his balcony. Usually he does that while you take the stairs up to their room at the end of the day but it's a bit early to leave. You start following him up the stairs that are behind a hidden door next to the ballpit. As you make it to the top you peek into the room from a side door.
