Chapter 3

Y/N POV

I felt him grab on my he squeezed my knee to reassure me that he was there for me and I loved the way he spoke to me. Simon did scare me with his mask on but his voice was firm and reassuring as well. Pretty soon the server came back with our food and drinks, I just sipped my cola as I twiddled on my phone.

Price and Simon started talking about something so I tuned them out with my headphones but before I slipped them in, I looked at them, "I'm just going to watch some YouTube" I said and Price nodded, "its fine" and Simon said, "go right ahead y/n" I smiled at them with a nod.

PRICE POV

"She's adorable" said Simon, I felt a pang of jealousy when he said it but it's Simon, he just said things the way he saw it. "The girl has a target on her head thanks to her grandfather and father" I said to him, "Laswell put you up to this security detail?" He asked me and I nodded, "aye" I glanced at her and somehow Simon saw how I was looking at her which had love and passion in my eyes, "Be careful Captain, you don't want to break her heart nor do you want to get hurt" he said to me, "I know Simon" I paused as I sipped my drink, "Find out who is targeting them, Laswell knows I would be roping you in. Let the rest enjoy their break"

"Aye Captain" he said and a silence hung between us, "Soap's marrying his girl in a few months" he said to me and I looked at Simon, "aren't you interested in anyone?" I asked him concerned, he shook his head, "you should try to open your heart up to someone Simon" is all I said, "Captain, we need to be careful who we let into our lives and who we trust, we make many enemies while we are on the field" he paused, "Even now, you being with her is a risk and threat to her life" he told me and I nodded in agreement as I knew what I was getting myself into.

He finished his drink and was about to leave some money for it, "It's on me" I told him, "thanks Captain" and he knocked the table to get y/n's attention, "huh?" she said ripping her earphones out of her ears, "Nice to meet you y/n, hope to see you soon" he said to her and she just smiled, "likewise Si...I mean Ghost" she said, "better" he said and nodded at me then left.

Y/N POV

I watched Ghost leave and then turned my attention towards Price, "anything on your mind sweetheart?" He asked me and I hugged him, then moved away from him as I looked into his eyes. He grabbed my face and kissed me passionately. We held each other like that for a while till I pushed myself off him. I bit my lip, he said to me, "every time you bite your lip, I want to bite it for you" which made me giggle.

"Can I ask you something?" and he nodded, "sure" and I said, "well my birthday is coming up soon" and he asked, "when?" "February" and I could see him thinking, "What date y/n?" And I replied, "well, dad usually likes having my birthday party during weekends so everyone can attend" he broke me off by kissing me with a smile as I was rambling, "y/n, just tell me when's your birthday" and I was blushing as I replied, "14th Feb"

He gave me a big smile, "Valentine's day?" and I nodded, he grabbed my face, kissed me then said, "so what does the valentine baby want for her big 21st birthday?" He asked me and I bit my lip, "err...well..." I began to stutter, he looked at me and hugged me as I placed my head on his shoulder. I managed to compose myself and utter the words I've been thinking the entire ride to the bar into his ear.

PRICE POV

She said it, she said the words that I had been wondering if I should have said to her, "I want you to fuck me somewhere away from home as my birthday present" and I moved her away from me quickly. Her voice felt breathless and seductive, she looked at me blushing. I didn't know what to say or do, I finished my drink and looked at her, "Are you done eating?" and she nodded to me embarrassed, "I'm sorry" and I looked at her as my eyes softened, "Oh sweetheart, don't be" and she looked down at her fingers, I grabbed her hand and looked into her big brown eyes, "y/n, I swear to you I won't hurt you at all but like I said we have to take this slow" and she nibbled on a chip then nodded, I called for a refill of my drink and I looked at her, "I'm sure it must have taken a lot of courage for you to ask me of this" I paused as my glass came back quick with a note from the server who winked at me again.
