Once again I woke up in the same room with the dirty brown hamster kept on the table. I gave it a nasty look and he gave me one back. Was I imagining it or the hamster did make faces at me!
I think you will end up marrying him if you keep looking at him like that.
SHUT UP! I hate these things.
I stood up and walked towards it. Carefully touching the cage with my fingers, afraid that it might bite me. He was staring at me and I stared back. Both of us waiting for the other person to blink. He was persistent and not giving. Neither was I backing down. The atmosphere getting intense, our don't blink game at peak.
Come on look away you little monster! Suddenly the door opened and he ran away.
HA! I win.
William aka the bad boy came waking inside with a tray in his hand."I see you've met Hercules Arison. He is the fifth member of our family.", he said keeping the tray in front of me and plopping down on the bed.
Hercules? Such mighty name for this little weasel.
The sunlight coming from the window fell directly on William highlighting his features. His jawline as sharp as a knife.
I wonder if he uses it to cut papers?I love jawlines, one point to him.
You! Again."Is this a habit of yours? This thing of zoning out? Are you ill or just awe struck by my godly personality?, he asked smirking at me.
I mentally scoffed at him. "First I don't zone out and If you call being a jerk a godly trait then no I like normal people better. And second I am definitely not ill!"
He stood up from the bed taking small steps towards me, his face contoured with anger. Putting his hands on both the armrest of my chair he bend down staring right into my eyes.
I gulped audibly, trying hard to maintain my posture and lifting my chin up looking back at him.
He lifted his hand to reach out for something. I closed my eyes ready for the impact but nothing came.
Peeking my one eye open I saw him placing the tray in my lap and standing back up.
" Mom send this for you, eat it and come back downstairs."
He turned around making me release my breath that I was holding. I looked at his retreating back sticking my tongue out at him, when suddenly he turned back.
His angry expressions turning to somewhat amusing, "Don't ever call me a jerk and put your tongue inside before I confuse you for a dog", he said smiling to himself and finally exiting.I put my hanging tongue inside, feeling embarrassed at my childish act.
I put the tray back on the table, feeling nauseous at the sight of food. I sat back on the bed, groaning inside the pillow and banging it on my head a few times."If you continue these acts I might take on William's suggestion to call a mental hospital"
I jerked my head up to look at the tall and lean structure standing in front of me, the other brother aka Mark. He had his hair combed to perfection. Not even a single strand of hair amiss. God knows how much time he spends in front of the mirror.
He lifted his hand to look at his watch and then back at me. "I think you should hurry with your food because Mr. James is living in about an hour. So if you want answers you better not be late." He looked at me doing the tick tock gesture with his fingers.
I panicked and stood up immediately. "What do you mean he is leaving? What about me? What am I....."
"Answers. Downstairs", he interrupted me before saying these two syllable and leaving the room.I looked around the room to find my shoes thrown in the corner. I quickly put them on and headed for the door when suddenly my stomach let out a huge grumble. I looked at the tray of food kept on the desk and then at the door.
I really wanted answers but my body wanted food. Both equally important. Either I choose to walk out of this door and get all my answers within the limited time I am given or sit here and satisfy my hunger to only waste some of my time.
I think getting answers should be our priority. Not to mention the two gods waiting downstairs.
This is the time when I use all my life learnings and rotate my inner chakras to get the answer and decide.
Its either answers or food.
Answers or food?
Answers or food?
I lifted my hand to reach the doorknob .
Answers or food?Fuck it! Food is it. Answers can wait.
