"From what I can see, you only started magic recently. What stage are you?" Erin asked, ignoring the aghast look on Blake's face. "What mana seed do you have?"

Blake shook the shock off her, "Hold up just a second. We are not skipping that. Did you say you're dead?"

"Is it that strange? In a world full of weird magic, self-resurrection shouldn't be that odd." Erin got off the couch and walked through the opening on the other side of the room where the kitchen stood victim to her plundering.

"Yes, It is that odd! Ressurection is banned magic, the kind where if it's found the mage association will place a bounty on your head!" Exasperated, Blake paced after Erin while speaking.

Unbothered, Erin shrugged, "Oh calm down. Unless the neighbors heard your shouting, you're the only other person who knows. Besides, it's not like I plan on leaving the house often. I'm carefree, not stupid, okay?"

Blake was silent for a second before nodding. She looked like she was going to ask a question, but she choked it down. "I can already feel it. You'll be the death of me."

She rubbed her head and answered, "Uh... I started gathering mana about a month ago and should be close to M.A.-2. And what do you mean what mana seed do I have, doesn't everybody just form a seed-like shape in their body? Isn't that how it got the name mana seed?"

Erin shook her head, a pre-made sandwich in her hand, "Only idiots would do that. A mage with a true mana seed is multitudes stronger than one who is just using a seed form. Lucky for you, I brought one with me. Had it for as long as I woke up. The only reason I didn't use it is that it rejected me. Had to use the other one because clearly, a dead person is too dirty for this picky seed."

Erin reached into the dull leather pouch clipped onto her thigh and pulled out an electric-red-looking gem. Other than its eye-catching appearance, there wasn't anything else noticeable about it.

"This is, as I said earlier, a mana seed. Mana seeds have different rankings that depend on how powerful they are, normally ranging from 1-5. Rank 1's could be found just about anywhere, and are normally ignored due to their lack of power. 2's and 3's are the most commonly used, while rank 4's are much harder to find. Rank 5's are the sort of thing where money isn't enough to get it.

This seed, and the seed I'm using, are Rank 6. I know I just said that the seeds rank from 1-5, but I'm bending that rule for these seeds. There are other worlds out there, and some are stronger than ours. We call those higher realms. Their rank 5 seed would be better than ours, so that's why I'm labeling it higher. Catch."

Not even looking away from the sandwich, Erin tossed the seed to Blake. "That seed will amplify fire, lightning, and space spells by 60%. Lucky for you, because you awakened lightning as your first element.  If you meditate in a location with abundant fire, lighting, or space mana it will boost your efficiency by 50%. If you find an area with two or three of them it will boost your efficiency by 100% or 150% respectively. Lastly, when you awaken all three elements you can create a domain combing the three.

The only downside is that you can only awaken either the space or fire element for the next two awakens and any other elements you learn after will be weakened. If you still want to use it all you have to do is swallow it, though be warned-"
