Jared was chanting 'Don't you dare to do this Jungkook' in his mind while looking down at his lap. 

Yes, Jared had indeed developed a liking towards the other but after the 2nd rejection, he started moving on from him.

The first problem was that the kiss on his cheek would make it hard for him to move on again. And the second problem was Kim Taehyung. He doesn't want Jungkook to do the dare, he doesn't have a death wish.

Don't get a wrong idea, Taehyung was such a sweetheart in school but when his patience would reach its maximum limit, his anger would be uncontrollable. Jared vividly remembers only one such incident but that one incident was enough to cause shivers.

It's not a secret that both Taehyung and Jungkook like each other. Everyone at the party can see the way both look towards or act around each other. And the fact was that both of them were not even trying to hide their likings. 

But -- Jungkook loves playing with the fire.

He just wants to see a jealous Taehyung. He knows about Taehyung liking him but he has never seen him getting jealous. No matter how hard Jungkook tries, Taehyung never shows his jealousy, neither in public nor in private. 

He reached Jared, took off his long shirt and bent down who in return kept looking down at his lap, eyes still closed. 

'Kissing would be hard.' A silent sigh escaped from his mouth. He squatted down and kissed his cheek -- no not kissing, he just pretended to kiss. 

On seeing how Jared was so uncomfortable, Jungkook just went close to him but from the front, it appeared as if he kissed his cheek. 

Both Jared and Jungkook distanced themselves within the next second. The voices of hooting and cheering were enough to make them even more embarrassed than they already were. 

Jungkook glanced a little towards Taehyung and both of their eyes met, within a split second Taehyung turned his head back again after giving a small warm smile. 

Jungkook furrowed his brows-- Why the f*ck he is smiling? Many thoughts came up in his mind but one which stuck was if Taehyung really likes him or if it was just his illusion. 

He can't deny that Tae's behaviour towards him is different, he treats Jungkook differently in every possible way -- like the kind the treatment given to your special ones.

But then again, Taehyung never gets possessive, he never gets jealous nor he asserts his dominance over Jungkook in any way. 

Of course, these are some very good traits that Taehyung possesses but still, at least for once he wants Taehyung to show his jealousness and assert his dominance over him or even if not over him, then at least show the people that this Jeon Jungkook only belongs to Kim Taehyung. 

Anyways, while these thoughts were going on in Jungkook's mind, it was time to change his clothes with Jared. Not giving much attention to it, he just took off his long shirt and exchanged it with Jared's jacket. 

On the other hand, Taehyung was jealous. Of course, he was. Why won't he feel jealous on seeing his soon-to-be boyfriend, sitting very close to a boy who liked him? Yeah, Taehyung saw how Jungkook didn't kiss Jared's cheek but still, he was uncomfortable with their closeness.

Taehyung saw the way Jungkook kept glancing at him, he thought Jungkook might want to see if he is ok or not and so he smiled a little and then averted his gaze immediately, knowing that he won't be able to fake his expressions in front of Jungkook for a long time.

He doesn't want Jungkook to feel his jealousy or possessiveness in any situation. His reasons are many including how he strictly hates the idea of a person claiming another person as 'his'. Like, come on, according to him a submissive/bottom/female is not a thing for you to claim.
