Freddy and Tala walked through the narrow tunnels and exited out a door that led to the atrium. Freddy walked onto the stage and stood in the middle.
"Gregory, my systems are failing. Go to the sound booth on the third-floor balcony. Run the performance program on the disk then meet me back on the stage. Please hurry. You do not have much time. It is almost the end of the hour. I will wait here," Freddy said.
"Got it, third-floor balcony," Gregory replied. "Quick, let's go Tala!"
"Yes, we need to be quick," Tala agreed. "Remember that I also need to recharge at the end of the hour."
Tala, with Gregory inside, hopped off the stage and started for the stairs. They could hear Roxy, Chica, and Monty in the distance.
"Where are you?"
"Let's rock!"
"Nobody will miss you."
As they went up the stairs, Gregory said, "Freddy said the booth is on the third floor."
But when they reached the top, they noticed something.
"Why are there so many more security barriers now?" Gregory asked.
"This is bad," Tala muttered worriedly. "Wait, there is one more escalator on the left side of the atrium. Hopefully, that one isn't blocked. If it is, we'll have to take drastic measures."
Gregory wanted to ask what she meant by "drastic measures", but just then he saw Roxy wandering the side where they were headed.
"I'm the best."
"We need to sneak by her," Tala said.
They snuck around the little photo booth and quickly rushed to the escalator as Roxy's back was turned. Luckily, the escalator wasn't blocked but as soon as they reached the third level, they saw Chica sauntering around.
"Gregory..."
They quickly snuck by and went to the middle of the balcony where the sound booth was. Gregory hopped out and used the disk on the Showtime Desk. The showtime music from earlier blasted on the stage.
"That should do it! I hope Freddy's okay. We should get back to the stage right away," Gregory said as he climbed back into Tala's stomach hatch.
They quickly headed back to the elevator, but once they reached the bottom, a fuzzy glitch took over their vision.
"Vanny!" Gregory said. "She's over there!"
Sure enough, Vanny was slowly skipping over to their location from the way they came.
"What are we gonna do?" Gregory asked.
"Looks like we will have to take drastic measures after all," Tala said as she rushed to the railing of the second floor.
"Wait what? What do you mean by drastic meaSUREEESSS!"
Gregory's voice cut off in a scream.
Mainly because Tala had leapt off the balcony.
She landed on one of the tables on the lower floor and quickly hopped over the fenced area and started rushing towards the main stage. Gregory, still shell-shocked, just sat there as she approached the stage. Finally coming to his senses, he noticed huge holograms of the Glamrock band on the stage.
"Great job Superstar," Freddy said. "Just push that button and the lift will take us down to Parts and Service."
Tala pressed the button and the lift started downwards. Then, Gregory saw "LOW POWER" flashing across her screen.
"I'm sorry, Gregory. You need to get out now," Tala said, opening her stomach hatch. "If we're on low power and you stay inside us, there is a chance we might turn on you, and we don't want that to happen."
"Oh, that's true," Gregory said as he hopped out of Tala. But when he turned around, he saw Moondrop's hands gripping the side of the lift.
"Oh no! What time is it? That moon thing's going to get me!" Gregory exclaimed. "There! On the wall."
"Quickly. Get to the re-charge station! Follow us," Freddy said.
Tala quickly escorted Gregory off the platform once they landed and through the gate, with Freddy close behind. Gregory's vision started filling up with clouds and stars as Moondrop followed them.
"It's past your bedtime..."
They turned a corner and Tala pushed Gregory into the charging station. The door closed behind them just as they heard a loud bang.
"Freddy!" Tala cried as Gregory rushed to the window.
Freddy was on the ground, while Moondrop was dragging him away. Moondrop paused for a moment and waved at them before disappearing with Freddy.
