"Milani" my mom called from her room "Yea mama" I said walking in her room "You know tomorrow is your first day at your new school" I mentally rolled my eyes thinking about it.
We just moved here to Houston from Atlanta and I already hate it I miss my family I was born in Atlanta so that's all I knew that was my home but my mama made us move here because of her new job.
"Yes mama I know I already have my clothes picked even though I don't want to be here" I whispered the last part "What u say I didn't hear you" my mama said looking at me "I didn't say anything ma" "ok that's what I thought but I know you will warm up to this new change and make a lot of friends" "What ever you say mama" I said closing the door.
I didn't really have any friends back in Atlanta I only really talk to my sister her name is Miya she is 14 but other than that I was a loner the kid that sat by themselves at lunch and in class.
But since I'm a senior this year I don't have to be the lonely quiet kid for long. I went back to my room and did my hair I always wanted to be a hairstylist and have my own hair salon I always told my self I would name it after me Milani's HairSalon.
I finally finished my hair and decided to go take a shower once I was out I got ready for bed I know tomorrow is going to be a big day for me.
