My Inner Demons x Reader

Episode 4

    The warm water took away all feelings of distress. Your whole body was relaxed as the bubbles stuck to your skin. A nice soothing bath was needed after the past few days. Your cat silently snored next to the tub; your once-clean towel was now covered in fur. But you didn't mind. Right now, relaxing is number one on your list. Opening your eyes, you sighed, "This is the best feeling ever." You looked towards your left to see your cat. A smile crept onto your face, "You seem just as happy, too, huh?" The mound of fluff stretched in response before curling back up.

    A yawn left your mouth. "You know, I'm impressed. I haven't seen an annoying person in almost twenty-four hours now." You closed your eyes again, the relaxation taking hold of you. "But, you know, if those Daemos are this quiet and just leave me alone. I may not mind them staying here." Your cat glanced at your figure before yawning at your comment. "They have their magic wally deal, and I have my apartment. Our own spaces, this might actually work out." You finished with a smile and let your body slip further into the tub. Letting the water rest just below your neck. Peace was all you felt. 

    "What are you doing?" Leif's voice could be heard coming behind you where the wall stood. 

    Your brain didn't fully process the situation, "Relaxing, what else does it look like."

    You quickly looked towards your left. "What does that do?"  Leif had their hands on their hips that still weren't entirely through the wall. Reality struck you. You screamed at Leif for intruding on your once peaceful bath. Your face burned red as you scrambled to cover yourself. "I'm still trying to figure out why you're doing this." Their eyebrow was raised as they stared at you, questioning your behavior.

    "Why are you in my wall???" But, of course, that was the least of your concern. You just wanted them out. But, it was the only question that immediately entered your mind. 

    Next thing you know, Asch was now to your right. "Leif, what are you-" He looked down at your crouching figure, which was trying to hide everything. "Wait, what are they doing?"

    "I asked the same question. I was going to ask the human sorcerer about human clothes since we can't figure them out."

    "I thought Noi figured it out."

    Noi had a pair of yellow pants on their head in the other room. The outline of his horns pushed through the fabric, surprisingly not riping it. "I figured it out!" They beamed.

    Pierce raised an eyebrow at the younger one's behavior, "Okay?"

    Leif thought momentarily, "Yeah, I don't trust Noi. So, I was going to ask the human sorcerer what to do with them since Rhys would get all smart with me. But the human is just sitting in water."

    Asch scoffed, "Disgusting."

    Your hands covered anything necessary. You yelled at them, "I'm taking a bath! Now, get out! How do you not know what privacy is?! Not to mention I have a name, too, so stop calling me sorcerer all the time!" Everything poured out all at once. In the heat of the moment, you spilled everything you wanted to say before but never could because they would constantly interrupt you.

    "Planet?" Leif asked. You didn't know how they mistook privacy for planet.

    Asch glared at you, "I'm not sure what you meant, but it sounded like an insult!"

    The worst thing happened next. Rhys opened the door to the bathroom and stepped inside. "Your Majesty, Leif. If you're going to move from one room to the other. Please go all the way through. Being stuck in between uses my magic and-" Rhys looked towards your helpless figure. "What are they doing?"
