A Familiar scene played out as the morning sun began rising once again. The same bright orange color filled the sky, as people began waking up, today they all were happy as not only was it the weekend, but it was a Holiday. Today however, Felix for once woke up wishing he hadn't. He groggily leaned up from his bed as he rubbed his eyes, waking him up.

"Sigh alright, I need to be on my A game today," Felix said dreading the talk he had yesterday.

He got up and walked over to his closet, he then pulled out the same type of clothes as yesterday and put them on. He then grabbed his phone and a nearby notepad and pen he had lying around, Felix then exited his room and turned to the stairs.

"Alright, now I need to think of a checklist on what to do," Felix said walking down the stairs, suddenly craving coffee.

As Felix reached the bottom he heard more distant talking from his family just like the previous morning. Felix walked back into the kitchen and darted straight towards the coffee maker. Felix hasn't actually had coffee before, but he knew how to use the machine. As he pressed the start of the machine someone spoke up.

"Since when did you start drinking coffee,"His mom said Blankly.

"If you must know, I'm going to need coffee for today," Felix said.

"And what exactly is going on today without us knowing? You do realize you have to tell us everything you're going to do, or else you're grounded," Felix's mom said.

"I'm not doing anything that different, I'm just on a 22 Hour time limit right now, where I have to unmask that killer going around before the end of this night." Felix said nonchalantly

As Felix finished his sentence, his whole family was caught off guard and almost choked on their drinks. His father turned towards Felix, while he was taking his now full coffee cup off the counter

"You What!?" Felix's father yelled.

"Why the Heck are you involved in that! You didn't kill anyone did you!" Felix's mother also yelled.

"Well . . .curiosity killed the cat, and unfortunately for this cat, his friend convinced him to help solve this murder mystery" Felix said taking a sip of the coffee and walking off.

"You are in big trouble Mister!" His mom yelled.

"Yeah, and I'm gonna be in worse trouble if I don't do this, this isn't something I can't get out of," Felix replied, now having his voice raised.

Felix's parents just began to go off about how this was the worst thing he has ever done, Felix didn't really care though as he just left the room. As Felix entered a different room he took out his notepad, he was about to write a checklist when his phone began buzzing. He picked it up to see Bree was calling him.

"Hello?" He said answering the call.

"Hi Felix, are you ready to go down to the police station?" She asked.

"Not really ready, but I'm still going to have to go," He replied, sipping his coffee.

"Well, we need to be there in 30 minutes, so I'd say start walking now," Bree said.

"Alright, by the way I hope you have a good plan, because I know we are probably going to get shamed if we flunk this," Felix said, reminding her.

"Felix I know that, like I said yesterday, I got a plan! you just have to trust me," Bree said reassuring Felix that the night was going to go smoothly.

"Did you just think of a plan to catch a serial killer on the spot?" Felix asked.

"Yes, but it's still a plan," Bree replied.
