"The big suprise..."

The next morning Sarah woke up to the sound of her alarm on her phone, she reached over and picked it up, before clicking the snooze button. Alright its 6:08am, I got a lot of plans to do at school today with Katie and Alice...I hope we do well in drama club. She thought to herself smiling, while getting up out of bed and walking over to her closet, opening it. Sarah searched through her clothes, looking for something nice to wear for school. She spotted a sky blue long sleeve shirt and a pair of white jean shorts, she pulled them out of the closet and placed them on her bed. Sarah got dressed into her clothes and braided her hair before walking out of her room, to go down stairs to get some breakfast. After Sarah ate her breakfast her mother drove her to school and dropped her off.

Sarah walked over to the school steps and looked up at her friends who were waiting for her. Smiling, Sarah walked up the steps to stand by the two. "So you two ready to join the drama club?" She asked them, grinning.

Katie snickered softly, while looking at Sarah with gleaming eyes. "I've been ready Sarah!" She told her, while grasping onto her hands and giving them a soft sqeeze.

Alice gave Katie and Sarah a soft smile, before reaching into her jacket pocket and taking out a small bag. "I'm also ready, but I got a gift for you two." She told them, while taking out three friendship rings out of the bag and handing a ring to them.

Sarah looked at the ring with awe, before giving Alice a brief hug before putting the ring on her finger. "Wow thanks Alice, I love the ring!" She said to Alice happliy.

Katie smirked at Alice, while putting the ring on her finger and giving Alice a big hug. "Thank you!! I will treasure it forever!" She told her, while squeezing her tightly.

Alice giggled softly, when Katie and Sarah hugged the her. "You're welcome guys, I'm glad you like them. They are called friendship rings, and I thought since we're friends we need something to repersent our friendship." She told them, smiling softlyKatie and Alice smiled at each other, before walking into the room after Sarah did. All three of the girls listened to the teacher who was running the club. She told them basics that they needed to learn while in drama club and after awhile of the teacher explaining everything to them, she gave them some pamphlet showing the activites that they will do in the club.

When lunch was over Sarah headed to math class with her friend Alice, she gave her friend small smile. "Hey Alice, I wanted to thank you again for the friendship ring you gave me." She told her.

Alice smiled sweetly at Sarah. "No problem Sarah I love giving you guys gifts, it makes me happy seeing you and Katie smile." She told her, while walking over to the door and opening it up.

Sarah smiled back at Alice, while walking up to her. "Okay Alice well lets get inside the room now and get this period started." She said Alice while walking inside the room, with Alice following behind her.

As the school day went on, Sarah got some homework from math, english, and science. It didn't seem like much work but she only knew this was still only the begining of the school year and the homework will start to grow in numbers sooner or later. At the end of school the bell rang showing that school had finally ended and she was finally able to leave. Once out of the class room, she raced down the hall and made her way out the front doors, waving her friends good bye, Sarah made her way to her mothers car and got in. Smiling sheepishly her mother drove them home, knowing that Andrew would be coming over soon.

Once they were home Carman stopped Sarah from going up stairs to her room. "Um, honey I need to tell you something." She told her daughter, nervously.

Sarah looked slightly confused by her mothers sudden nervous personality. "What is it you need to tell me mom?" She asked her curiously, while placing her bag at the stairs.

Carman sighed softly before speaking to Sarah. "Well what I want to tell is that your father is coming to vists you, sometime today okay."

Sarah just stood there staring at her mother, she thought she was joking with her for a minute but the look on her face told Sarah that she wasn't kidding. "That's great I guess....why is he visiting?" Usually her fathers visits are extremely short but he never really came to see her and when he does come its just to fight with her mother about problems or other none important stuff.

Carman gave a half smile to her daughter. "Well I'm not really sure when, I guess will find out when he does come." She told Sarah, while walking passed her and going up the stairs to her room.

Sarah sighed with her back pack and walking into the living room to do some homework while she waited for her father to come. After a while of finishing her home work and watching some tv, she finally heard a knock on the door.

Getting up off the couch, Sarah walked over to the door and opened it. She slightly faked a smile towards her father. "Hi dad." She said to him.

Andrew smiled at his daughter. "Well hello my sweet daughter, I'm sorry but I can't stay very long I got work soon, so I'll make this quick. I'll be bring you to a small restuarant with your mother, if she wants to come along that is and after that I want to bring you to the store to get some new clothes to wear. That's all I have to say, so I'll be seeing you and your mother on Sunday." He told Sarah before turning around and walking down the steps to his car, not even letting Sarah say a word to him.

Sarah just closed the door, before leaning against it. "Well that was the shortest converstation I ever had in my life." She said softly to herself, while walking over to the stairs and walking up them to her room. She opened up her bedroom door and walked inside, she got dressed into her pajamas. She quickly set her alarm and laid down in bed. Sunday eh? Well that is going to be a awkward Sunday with mom and dad. Sarah thought to herself, while she drifted off to sleep.
