Elizabeth anxiously wrote this message to be sent to Philip, she couldn't even believe she'd write him a letter again, not in this time, after a fight, his tennis racket having a huge scar after being hit at a post, avoiding him. The aim was supposed to be at him.

Philip is an arsehole, she knows that, but he deserves to have this news, not an exciting one for her because she's afraid Philip wouldn't even show up after this. Their kids miss him but "Papa's out for some business", she tells her children, it's painful for her to watch the kids sigh, walking away from her, reminding her of him more.

She closed her eyes, signing her signature in the paper.

"Windsor 12/7/60'

Dear Philip,

I look forward to have dinner with you tonight, please do come home early, I have something to tell you, it's very important for you to know as early as possible."

Read Philip, apparently this was delivered to him 26 minutes ago. He wondered why this was an urgent call, supper or dinner is at 6:30 for the both of them. It's 4:50 p.m.

He went and accompanied powerful men at lunch and a hockey match, apparently for him, he didn't notice the distance between him and Elizabeth, Elizabeth was always busy reading letters for him, they haven't shared the bed since he left after a fight, he thought she'd just reach out again but apparently not, just this time.

The last time they made love was like 2 months ago so he thought that this is the time where things go normal again if he just gave his wife some sweet and special lovin' but he was wrong.

He reached to the door, the royal guards open it for him.

He entered to see Elizabeth trying to keep it together for some reason, her elbow on the table, holding her head looking like it hurts.

Philip closed the door and Elizabeth looked up at him tiredly, she went on and sat properly.

He sat in front of her, the table is quite short so they don't really have trouble looking at the details of each other.

Elizabeth wanted to scream in joy that her husband took time to actually visit her and maybe their children but with the current situation, it drowned her.

Philip stirred his coffee, "Are you going to tell me what's happened?" he raised his eyebrows.

"Happened." she drank her tea slightly, "You see, I think I'll be well even without your assistance in this but I think you deserved to know at least." she took an envelope out of her pocket and slid it to Philip's side.

He took one look at her again, then to the envelope. He took it and opened it, an ultrasound. A baby indeed. He looked at her again, "How far along are you?"

"2 months. I didn't even get to notice, I thought that I was just having this normal sickness month but it appears that I was not and those morning sickness had hidden meaning and I am indeed...with child." she sighs.
Philip stayed silent, completely still, but as for Elizabeth, she ate her buttered vegetables.

Though, she paused for a while, "Aren't you going to say anything about the baby at least? Are you going to stay or not?"

"Of course Lilibet, I will stay, we have children together. I can't just leave like an unmarried man without children, leaving his girlfriend. You know that."

"Well, I thought you wanted nothing to do with me." Elizabeth hugged herself.

He knew his wife was getting emotional, this time he got up to go to her side. He kneeled to her, "I thought you would never kneel before your wife again.." she mumbled.

He inhaled, closing his eyes, letting the grudge go as he exhaled "Lilibet please, you know that I will always love you, I'd never leave you, you know that."

"But I feel so alone in this Philip, I thought that you'd come back before anything else happens but you had to wait for me to send you a message, let alone a message about our child I'm carrying inside me, do I really have to chase on you all the time?" Elizabeth cried, "You're just always so far away.."

"I always thought of going back home to you, I would but the thought of you throwing me out would hurt so I-" he was cut by Elizabeth "But you didn't try! Oh Philip, years together, you still don't get it, don't get how I longed for you for forever! You're a foolish man for letting your thoughts get the best of you.."

He looked down in shame, "Philip, I'm-I'm your wife, we're supposed to be in this together.." she cupped his face "Our children misses you so much, please don't leave us this long..."

"For as long as you let me stay, don't let me leave as much as possible."

"Foolish man...tsk..doesn't know how to chase after his wife" she mumbled, rolled her eyes, arms crossed.

"Cabbage, now..I'm sorry, please..I.." he pleaded.

"Fine." she huffed, "Don't be too far, don't be so far away.." she held his hand.

"I won't." he says, hugging his wife as he stayed kneeling to her.

"Can I trust you? Do you promise?" she pulled away from the hug to look into his eyes, those beautiful eyes.

His eyes had a look of honesty and guilt that he wasn't there for her and she read it very well."

"Yes, I do promise you Lilibet." and with that Elizabeth kissed him.

In the midst of their kissing, butlers and maids came in.

"We are serving for-" one starts.

"No. No." the both said in unison "Out, Out."

When they did leave, the both laughed.

"I guess we'd be like this for forever." she starts.

"Forever it is with our dearest right here." he placed a hand on her tiny bump, a few months'll do for it to appear big.

"Do you think it'll be a girl or a boy?" she asks.

"Hopefully a girl for Anne to play with." he says.

"I do agree.." she says, "But, what do we name it?"

"I'm sure "it" is not apart of someone becoming a human being but "it" it is, although I haven't had the slightest idea." he says.

"Helene maybe? or Victoria, for a boy, maybe Arthur?"

"Helene, Victoria, Arthur, they sound brilliant, though I think we need to make an extraordinary one." he said, in a goofy voice.

"Helene Victoria.." she mumbles.

"Helene Victoria it is." he smiled at her and aimed for her lips almost immediately.

Now, the rest is pretty much history.
