Chara is a spirit or demon. Not that they're a bad kid but definitely did some pretty bad stuff back when she was alive. This chara goes by she/they preferably they/them Since they were born in the 1800's around that time 11 turning 12. Again the necklace is given by the dreemurs and is what allows them to live
The idea I had was basically all the fallen children are dead and now live with the dreemur family and are all different grouls/or monsters. They all have heart lockets with their original soultraits.
It was more of a found family theme of idea. And the kids (mainly Frisk and maybe Chara) would join Skid and Pump.
Also I can see Chara being the kid to annoy/be the sorta bully to the hatz gang. Not mean just scares them with their spirit face
