Goldheart sighed. "If he's blind, he will never be a warrior... unless one eye is fine." She mewed. Amberkit looked away. "You don't have to be sorry. I know that she's watching me right now, and i still have my daddy." She squeaked, trying to sound calm.
Goldheart looked over to Treesap. "I uncovered the rosemary hole for Gingerspeck. Can you go get it and rub it on her?" Treesap stared at her, feeling angry that she's making him look at her dead body even more. "Okay." He hesitated and began rubbing the sweet smelling herbs on Gingerspeck.
Goldheart padded over and wrapped cobwebs over Gingerspeck's torso. She stepped back. "She looks beautiful." Treesap whispered. Goldheart can see his eyes were glazed with pain and held his tears in. She growled a little, hating the way how Treesap acted like he wasn't hurt at all. Treesap put Gingerspeck on his back and quietly went to the clan entrance. Stoneheart and Squirrelscrap padded to him. "We want to come to-" Treesap cut Squirrelscrap up. "I want to be alone and bury her myself." He snapped. Goldheart's eyes burned in fury. How can her brother act so rude? She walked over to Amberkit. "Don't worry, little kit. He's just very upset and needs time alone." She lay next to Amberkit and talked about her stubborn brother. Treesap sighed as he sat next to Gingerspeck's hole. He looked around and planted a willow tree seed on her grave, to see if it will grow.
"he was going to be a warrior today.." meowed snowstar "I just feel sad right now" tigerpaw woke up with a sudden jolt "why cant I see anything.." he meowed "wait.. its just a bit blurry.." he sounded like he was trying to hold in the pain.
snowstar smiled at her kit, glad that he had healed. she meowed "clan meeting!" snowstar looked at her two kits "today, we will have two new warriors. soulpaw and tigerpaw" she meowed. soulpaw and tigerpaw went to snowstar. tigerpaw was limping because he had lost his left paw. tigerpaw looked like the strongest cat in the clan, like if he had many battle injuries. "from now on, tigerpaw will be tigerheart and soulpaw will be soulfeather. will you help your clan survive?" the two new warriors meowed "YES!" soulstar smiled "then from now on, you will be warriors of soulclan"
Lightheart went to the nursery again and layed down. Suddenly she felt a hard kick and knew the kits were soon to come. She sent snowypaw to Goldheart to tell her the news.
Lightheart watched the clan greif from her nest. She felt proud for the new warriors as well
Goldheart nodded. She knew exactly what was happening. She went over and got some borage leaves and a stick. She made Stoneheart fetch new bedding and moss water. Goldheart purred and sat down next to Lightheart. "Are you ready?"
