Chapter Twenty Six Okay. Okay?

Laney's POV

I was talking to Maddie when I heard shouting from the hallway. I chose to ignore it, Taylor on the other hand did not. He just stood of and looked around he then sat back down. I then saw him jump up and get in front of Maddie when a armed man walked into the room. He pulled up his gun and gave Maddy and evil smirk, he then pulled the trigger and the bullet shot Taylor right in his shoulder. You dodged the bullet so mad he wouldn't get shot. I felt tears starters dream down my face as I saw some security guards and a few male nurses tackled them in the ground they got the gun away and they took him away. I saw Taylor holding on the end of Maddie's bed, he probably was holding on for deer life. I saw the doctor come in immediately and take Taylor away I just sat back down and put my head in my hands and cried. Maddie was speechless. She just sat there tears streaming down her face but no noise.

"This is the worst day of my life" she said. "I will never dance again and my brother just got shot"

"I know it must hurt Maddie" I said.

"and I thought my life is going perfect and then everything just goes downhill" she sighed.

"I know the feeling" I said. We sat in silence for a few minutes and then a doctor came in.

"Mr. Caniff is in surgery, he should be okay he didn't lose too much blood I'm very sorry" he said.

"Thank you for the updates sir" I sighed. We just sat there thinking of the worse case scenario. When Matt and Hayes walked in.

Maddie's POV

I saw Matt and Hayes walk in and a small smile appeared on my face.

"How you feeling babe?" Hayes asked.

"Just great" I said sarcastically.

"I'm sorry about the whole thing babe" he sighed.

"It's not your fault" I said.

"We will give you to some privacy" Matt said taking Laney's and walking out of the room. Hayes sat next to me on the bed and just put his arms around me.

"It will get better I promise" Hayes mumbled in the crock of my neck.

"I hope your right" I sighed. He looked in my eyes and then attached his lips. Our lips moved in sync as we kissed. He bit my lip for entrance, and I granted him. His young exploded my mouth as mine to his. We pulled apart out of breath and then Hayes went to my neck and started to kiss the skin lightly. He the started to sick on a small section causing a moan to escape my lips. He pulled away pecking my check and then wrapping his arms around me.

"I love you" he said.

"I love you too" I smiled. I lauded on his chest and started to drift of into a deep sleep.
