I used to be an outgoing little girl. Now I'm grown and introverted.

I used to love math. Now I'd rather eat school food.

I used to like dresses and wearing makeup. Now I wear jeans and a hoody paired with a blank expression.

My parent told me that the golden rule of life was "treat others how you want to be treated". If it was the golden rule does that mean the others want to be greeted with a shove and called slurs as they walk in the halls?

I used to be a happy little girl. Now I cry myself to sleep.

I used to run around with my arms flailing in the wind, not a care in the world. Now I make sure every inch of my body is covered.

I used to spend every one of my days with my family, laughing and making jokes. Now I spend them curled up in my room.

I used to be an outgoing little girl.

Now I'm grown and introverted, colors no more.
