the day had started normally. everyone had eaten breakfast and then listened to stories on the radio. roy was snuggling close to Lesley keeping his hand on her stomach. this confused money man.
"hey uh, roy? why do you have your hand on Lesley's stomach?" he asked. lesley's and roy's eyes both widened. they had forgotten to tell money man about the baby!!
"oh well uh you see-" but before roy could finish he felt a small kick. his little boy or girl had just kicked. Lesley obviously felt it too looked down at her stomach leaving money man in confusion. roy quickly remembered he needed to answer his friend's question.
"I may or may not be a father." roy said blushing thinking about when he had gotten Lesley pregnant. money man's eyes widened. "wow- uhh well congrats you two! do you know the gender yet?" money man asked eager to know more about the unborn infant. roy shook his head. "but we are gonna try to do an ultrasound I think it's called? people say it's really good and you get to see your child before they are born!" roy explained excitement in his voice. "oh cool!" money man replied. just then money man saw lesleys stomach move. "hey could i maybe feel your stomach?" money man asked. lesley loved how polite he was. always asking before acting upon. "of course dear." lesley said as money man put his fluffy hand on her stomach and he felt the little baby kick. roy watched as his friend talked to his unborn son.

it was finally the day they were gonna see their child. they were both excited but nervous. money man sadly couldn't come because he had finally found a job and was working. but that was ok, they would have pictures of their child and show them to money man later.
"alright miss could you lift your shirt off your stomach please?" the doctor standing next to lesley on the bed said, lesley obeyed lifting her shirt up just a bit to show her watermelon belly (she is 6 months just so you guys know) then the doctor put a weird liquid onto lesleys stomach. it as cold so lesley didn't really like it but it didn't hurt at all which was nice. then the doctor put some sort of machine over lesleys stomach while looking at a black screen, and suddenly a little baby appeared on the black screen. "is that?" "yep. that's your child sir." she said moving the machine around lesleys stomach a little. roy watched as the baby on the screen moved their arms a little. they weren't even born yet and roy already wanted to grab the child and make them as happy as possible. lesley felt the same way. "would you two like to know the gender?" the doctor asked while getting pictures of the little infant. roy and lesley both said yes. the doctor looked at the photos. "well you two have a baby boy on the way" she said looking up and handing the photos to lesley and roy.

"and now i hear that he's going to be a father!"
"I'm going to be a grandpa?"
"that's not the point George. the point is that brat doesn't deserve a child and-"
"whatever sick things your planning I'm not gonna be part of it. we are done jill. done."
then george packed his things while his wife begged him not to leave. he ignored her and left the house. he had overheard where roy lived now while jill was talking to money man's father. that's where he went.
