chapter 16 *all about someone else for once*

as peacful as the night had been for roy and lesley, they wouldn't wake up to peace.


"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" is what they woke up to. roy jolted up and quickly ran to dannys room and found him crying in his crib. he picked him up and cradled him, sitting on the rocking chair in the room so he could bounce danny on his leg.

dannys wails soon turned to giggles as he bounced. he laughed and reached for the ceiling, maybe he thought he would reach it if he bounced high enough. 

roy eventually stopped bouncing him and just held him in his lap, slowly rocking the chair almost asleep. he had only waked up and ran to the room cuz he worried for dannys safety after.... well i don't think we need to say it.


roy fell back asleep as danny happily giggled and played with a toy he had snatched from his crib. then he noticed his dad was no longer awake. "ah! ahh!!" danny said while hitting roys leg which woke him up. "I'm up I'm up danny," he said sitting up in hope he wouldn't fall asleep again. danny took his pacifier which roy had given him to calm him down but had later fallen out and put it in roys mouth surprising roy. he tried to spit it out not wanting to taste baby formula and baby vomit but danny stopped him with a scowl on his face that told roy to keep it in. he decided sense it was in his mouth he could suck it. he sucked on it and he sucked on it until..


"*snoooorrreee*" danny giggled. he could now escape and go see the rest of his home. until he saw how high up he was, he didn't want to feel bad feelings again so he decided to stay in his dads lap and wait until mama came in. 

~meanwhile~


lesley sat up in her bed. roy had been gone quite awhile, was he okay? she quickly got some pants on (she had slept in her underwear and she cant walk around pantsless with money man and George in the house) and went into dannys room to find roy sleeping, slowly sucking on a pacifier. and danny was playing with a toy in his lap. lesley giggled at the sight. she quickly but quietly took danny away from roy not wanting to wake him from his slumber. she decided that she should save this humorous moment as she grabbed the camera that they kept on a very high shelf in dannys room (they left it in dannys room incase danny did something they would want to photograph) and took a picture of roy. she was surprised that the noise of the camera didn't wake roy up but she didn't complain. she took the photo out of the camera and shaked it a little until the photo formed. she smiled at it and then she put the camera back. "now, whos hungry?" lesley asked danny as she brought him downstairs danny just sat in his mothers arms as they went into the kitchen.

roy woke up and immediately spit out the pacifier coughing up some drool. he got up from the chair and picked up the drool-coated pacifier and brought it downstairs and dropped it in the sink.

"soo how was your nap dear?" roy looked at the clock and realized he had slept for 3 hours. "it was fine it was fine." he said. "wheres danny?" roy asked. "he's in the living room with George." lesley replied. roy goes over to lesley and hugs her, nuzzling her neck. "something wrong?" she asked. "no your just warm." he mumbled while still hugging her. lesley smiled as she picked the man up into her arms as they got closer together. happily cuddling.
