Deadness Approaches

Chapter 3(Above the supply room)

"Be careful, I think zombies are there and we have to break the vent in order to get to the supply room." Rei said carefully peeked through the vent

"All clear!" The students climbed down from the vents which had a nearby ladder. They retrieved the food and materials they needed like a crowbar and tape. As they were climbing up Hana screamed, "HELP!!" a person with bloody red eyes and drooling the blackest blood by the mouth was holding onto her leg. The seven students were trying to pull her up but the zombie was too strong. "It's too hard, Pull harder, come on we can do it!" Eventually, the students won the tug of war. Kazuya checked Hana to see if she was injured. She seemed ok, so the students continued their way back to their classrooms. Rei asked,

"Hiroko, is there anybody in the classroom you were sheltering in?"

"There's more of us in 803" Rei then asked, "Who else?" Hiroko replied with, "Ai, Shota, Sora, Kaito, and Riku." Rei said, "Should we pick them up and take you guys to our class?" Hiroko replied with "No, we're good." Rei said, "Okay."

                                                                                Back at 805.

"We're back!" said Rei. "Rei! Kazuya! Haru! ARE YOU OKAY???" as Himari ran straight to them as soon as they came out of the vents hugging them. "I was worried about you!" "Himari we're okay! Don't be scared, we aren't hurt." Kazuya said. "What was the adventure like?" Momo asked. "It was simple, nothing so bad, just one zombie tried to eat Hana but we saved her." Haru responded. "Was she okay?" asked Himari. "Yeah, we were scared. I checked on her and she didn't have any bites." Kazuya replied. "Can we see what you got?" asked Mina. "Sure," said Rei. Rei, Kazuya, and Haru revealed to the people in the classrooms what they got. The floor consisted of the school snacks, humus, the cold school lunches, and the school milk. "I think we should fill some containers up with water. We will need water." said Mina. "I think we should go to the vending machines and break it to take as many drinks as we want," said Hinata. "If we take Hinata's idea it will most likely get us killed," said Momo. "If we use the containers to fill them up with water we are gonna need to use the bathrooms to clean the containers," said Rei. "I don't want to go back to the vents again," sighed Haru. "We'll be able to survive without water for at most 3 days. Maybe we will think about it again." said Rei. Right now we should think about how we are gonna sleep. "I have an idea!" said Usagi. "We can see if there is a piece of paper that is the size of the bulletin boards."

"What about pillows?" said Momo. "I'm sure they are in the boxes in this classroom," said Kazuya. "I think we should check the classroom for bags of cotton. We don't want to wait until night just to find out there isn't any." Rei said. 

        After checking the classrooms the students managed to find 6 big bags of cotton.

There was a frantic knock on the door and somebody opened the door which revealed a sweaty, scared, and tired girl who then said "Hi can I stay here I was chased by the zombies and I'm really scared" "Emiko?" said Haru "What are you doing here? I thought I'd never see you again."

"Haru?" said Emiko "Where were you when I needed you?" "Why would you need me? You have your friends to protect you why you need me." said Haru. "Because you're big and strong so I thought you could help me." said Emiko "Where's your boyfriend?" said Haru. "He was infected," cried Emiko. "Why argue we need to check Emiko in case she has been bitten or infected," said Kazuya. "Kazuya's right," said Rei. As Kazuya checked Emiko to make sure she hadn't been infected and she was all clear. Momo and Haru wanted Emiko out but the students fully insisted that she'd stay. So Emiko stayed. The students had to spend the night in the school since they weren't able to call their parents and all they had to do was leave a voicemail for them. As the students went to sleep Rei thought to himself, I hope my friends are okay. Maybe I'll find them tomorrow. I hope they are doing well without me.
